Is it endometriosis?
Hello, I’m very new to all of this and looking for some advice if possible. I’m 28 years old and up until I came off the pill a few months ago I have never suffered with my periods. Last year I was told that I had cervical erosion and needed treatment for this, I had the cells frozen away and was advised

If so how did you cope as I am doing physio weekly for my legs in particular my left leg as it feels like it’s been paralysed. I can’t walk normally as

Pain
I've been reading on here that some of you cant get the surgery, I was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer in 2008, after surgery to remove said breast I then had chemotherapy, radiotherapy, 5 yrs of anti cancer drugs & surgery inbetween all that, I'm lucky I'm still here, but its left me with arthritis

Leading pain doctor says no significant pain relievers for at least ten years.
A post I read in the newsletter Pain News Network, a leading doctor/scientist in the field of pain management stated that in her professional opinion there will not be a significant replacement pain reliever for at least ten years, or more. Seems Big Pharma is running out of options for pain relievers

CRPS? What's the next steps
I have been diagnosed with CRPS for 4 years now and am on pregablin 300mg, naproxen 500mg and citalopram 20mg. However I don't want to be on medication forever. Is there anything I can do or get (from the NHS) that would help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

NSAID’s a no no for pain relief?
Had a sudden, unexpected cardiac arrest two and half years ago age 65. Had two stents fitted. Now fully recovered and very active again. Got severe, very painful tendinitis in foot. Are NSAID’s e.g. Naproxen or Ibrabrufen out of the question for reducing pain and inflammation? If so what alternatives

Wrist pain Advice
Good morning I’ve been struggling with my wrists last few weeks. Last few days I can’t bend my wrist if I do for example bending it to put my coat on I scream because it’s so painful. Only taking Methotrexate currently is it wise to take Naproxen? Does anyone take these along with Methotrexate?

Update to GP Doctor visit
I went to my GP yesterday to update her as I have not seen her for close to a year. She was really upset with how my care has progressed up to this point in doctors recommending orthopedic, shoulder surgery and naproxen. You guys are absolutely correct, thank you, she took me immediately off naproxen

PMR Symptoms back with a vengeance
I am battling PMR since 2017 and have tried internist, rheumatologist and now orthopedic. So one seems to know about PMR except rheumy...I started this journey at 10mg of prednisone and Methotrexate. Now I’m on 5mg of prednisone and 1000mg of naproxen. I tried tapering off the steroid for obvious reasons

Chronic lower back pain, nerve pain flare up. Advice needed please!
Hello all. This is my first post even though I joined this great community over a year ago. Just got home after an 8 hour stint at A&E. My GP sent me for an emergency MRI to rule out Cauda Equine Syndrome due to yet another episode of climbing the walls with back pain and a nerve pain flare up with

GCA blood test
Could naproxen mess up the blood result? I have had headaches, temple pressure, tenderness on scalp for two weeks, they are ruling out GCA due to age and nothing showed in bloods. I have started with pain behind my eye in the last few days, I am thinking I need to go back and ask for a further test.

Hi everyone - my hip osteoarthritis kicks in occasionally & is terribly painful. Naproxen used to do the trick but as I am now on Apixaban that is off limits. Can anyone suggest an alternative please (paracetamol only helps a little) ?
