Advice on myocarditis please.
My own GP told me that the hospital had diagnosed
myocarditis
and told me what that was but said he wasn't a specialist and the cardio team at the hospital would be better so to wait for them to get in touch with MRI results.

Viral Myocarditis
Hi everyone I’m a very fit 34 yo who has been diagnosed with viral
myocarditis
after a sudden onset of severe chest pain and flu-like feeling and low level temperature. Inverted t-waves on my ECG has me sent to hospital and that’s the result.

Has anyone experienced viral
myocarditis
? It's been 4 months since I was in the ICU. I'd love to talk with someone who has gone through this.

No Answers; clock running out before I see latest doctor regarding prolonged, successful 18-year Coumadin use for clot to brain
I've had years of strange symptoms following a bout with
Myocarditis
and CHF. After successful treatment and a discharge by the cardiologist, I developed grotesque feet/hand swelling (increased several sizes within weeks).

The validity of discontinuing long term Warfarin (coumadin) therapy
Additionally, there was never an explanation for the
Myocarditis
. The cardiologist at the time speculated that I must have had an undiagnosed infection of some type, although he was unsure.

PLEASE HELP!! Coumadin for Stroke -long term therapy; Raynaud's; Type II diabetes, Severe allergy, hypothroidism, migraines
Early '90s developed
Myocarditis
and CHF. A year long treatment of Lopresser helped heart to heal but set me on the path for other problems. I am allergic to many things (environmental and chemical). After taking Lopressor (which made me ill) I developed extreme swelling in hands, feet and waist.

Symptoms of hyperthyroidism, but normal test results?
Over the course of these months I've been to the hospital a few times already and the last visit showed arrythmia and the doctors want to do an echo to rule out
myocarditis
/pericarditis, as when I have chest pains the only way to get relief from it is to lean forward because it gets worse if I lie down

Myocarditis anyone?
Anyway, my question is has anyone here suffered from
myocarditis
? I'm currently holed up in my local hospital feeling rather sorry for myself. The first thought was that I had suffered a heart attack, so I'm rather relieved!

Myocarditis - thyroid related?
I just got out of hospital after a week in cardiology with a heavy case of
myocarditis
, now on a beta-blocker & ACE inhibitor to keep me real slow so the heart can recover. Cause was never established but it hurt real bad, troponin levels were high and pulse rate was 130, now 72.

Regenerative heart muscle tissue
My question is: If the heart muscle is damaged (
Myocarditis
) by Vasculitis in that a part of the muscle stops working or becomes sluggish can that part be repaired by itself bearing in mind that the patient also suffers from the auto-immune disease Vasculitis?
