I was diagnosed with Myocarditis on September... My burning sensation around my sternum was unbearable.... They took my blood, Troponin level was 11000 🤯😵‍💫 MRI showed inflammation on the left side of the heart..... So Doc.

Diagnosed with myocarditis in May 2024. When back for ecg but normal. Any suggestion or advice can share with me? I really need fully recover from this myocarditis.

My partner was diagnosed with Myocarditis in 2018 and still suffers from the legacy it has left behind. It is not like a 24-hour bug you recover from, but a condition you must live with.

Hi all, I was diagnosed with Myocarditis and pericarditis 8/9 weeks ago. I’ve been home resting since then (after a week in hosp). Around week 4 and 5 I could really feel my energy coming back and was feeling very well. However from week 6, absolute exhaustion everyday.

Hi all, This 16 August will be 3 months of having myocarditis. Last month on July I went for medical checkup, everything okay but my troponin still the same as my first day admitted due to myocarditis.

currently in hospital awaiting an mri I’m having worsening breathlessness and pain on lots of meds had covid myocarditis 3 years ago which cleared after 6 months and had symptoms worsening over 6 weeks anyone else tests such as troponin normal ?

hey, it was just a little message to say I have been diagnosed with both myocarditis and pericarditis. I am a single mum of a 3 year old. I do have support but it’s difficult to give up that independence.

Hi everyone, just to update after one month and half diagnosed with Myocarditis, I still feel chest pain and sometimes at my neck. However, I can control my anxious but sometimes I will felt anxiety due to my chest pain.

I feel unwell and look extremely pale and unwell, much more so than when I was leaving hospital after apparently having recovered from myocarditis.

Hello everyone firstly just like to thank you all for you posts on Myocarditis it has raised my spirits. i have been diagnosed about 2 months ago after a viral infection and my Mri has shown mild inflammation and heart scarring.

Following hospital admission in March 2024 after what was thought to be MI I was diagnosed with Myocarditis. Bloods (Troponin levels at 1275), ECG, Echocardiogram, Angiogram and Cardiac MRI confirmed Myocarditis.

I have recently been diagnosed with Myocarditis. It started 3 months ago after finding out that my best friend had taken his own life. I had chest pains and they got worse if I tried to walk or lift anything.

so I had covid myocarditis back in 2020 I bc was rushed in really abnormal ecg they told me I had pericarditis wasn’t improving and expressed concerns of myocarditis the cardiologist said no but agreed to scan and I did had oedema and something else took me a year to improve had mri again all normal

I have been feeling rough after a trip to Spain with Flu possible covid and I have noticed a throb and dull pain in my left shoulder and arm much like I did when I have myocarditis and pneumonia in March 2023.Not sure if I am worrying about nothing or if I should talk to someone meaning doctor or hospital

Additionally, there was subepicardial fibrosis in the basal lateral wall with adjacent rim of pericardial effusion in keeping with previous myocarditis.

i am almost 3 months in to my Myocarditis and i am seeing signs of progress . Sleep is getting better but still the odd fluttery night maybe 1 once every week / couple weeks.

For people who have experience with myocarditis, is an irregular ECG common with Myocarditis? Any help would be much appreciated.
