Using tick saliva to treat Myocarditis - BHF News

Proteins found in tick saliva could be used to treat a dangerous type of heart disease which can cause sudden cardiac death in young adults, according to research we've funded published in the journal Scientific Reports.

Wow this was a really interesting article and would be amazing if it really did become a cure for this particular heart disease. I was diagnosed myself only a few weeks ago with this type of heart disease and I'm relatively young🤣🤣. But this is why I believe research is so important and drug trials are equally important. Without people coming forward and trialling new drugs we will never get a cure for so many still incurable diseases. I myself have an incurable disease but regularly do what trials I'm able to do. But once again thanks for an inspiring article.
