Pelvic floor therapy after menopause
I have MS, and I have
muscle
tightness or spasticity in other places as well as pelvic
pain
and tightness of my hip flexors. When I the hip pain worsens, so does the pelvic pain.

No Prednisone, is it dangerous?
Going of prednisone and I was at12mg for awhile. Then suddenly there was a mixup at the pharmacy and now I've gone 2mg a day and now I have no pred. at all, and the drs won't call back with refills. Is it dangerous to go without pred for a few days?? I have been doing very well without too much pain

off pred…. Update
good morning all. I have now been ‘off’ pred for 6 weeks. It’s been a bumpy ride. I started to have pain in my knees and thighs, which made walking and exercise difficult( never had this before). I took pain killers and reminded myself that the HPA triangle may not be up to speed. I started hydrotherapy

Update: The Squeaky Wheel (heard fr Neuro)
Hip and spine x-rays showed no sign of breakage or arthritis, although we still don't know what's causing all this horrendous back
pain
and
muscle
spasm. SED rate is good. He could see no immediate alarms.

Tapering - an update
I’m not generally keen on loads of tablets, but I thought I’d try them to see if they will help with the
muscle
spasms. Hopefully, to break the cycle of
pain
-spasms-pain. I’m having 5mg at night and 5mg in the morning.

Yet more scans, and still stable.
I think I let you all know somewhere here, that I may have to change treatments, due to my Cancer markers rising all the time. I’m feeling more and more pain. Getting more and more tired. But they can’t see anything changing on my scans. so I will remain on Anastrozole and Ibrance for now. This is both

Pain control
The Pain Clinic has suggested I take Tapentadol. I can't find anything about it on the internet. Has anybody taken this drug and could tell me about it.

Progress
All the way through my first 4 years on pred I never felt well, sleeping badly, no energy having to sleep every afternoon,
muscle
weakness, the lot. Now I have no
pain
I’m feeling great, wasn’t like this when I was on 7 before. Anyway I am making the most of it.

caused by
muscle
rigidity and joint stiffness. My brain is so foggy that I have found it difficult at times to express myself in words. To combat all this, I did the usual things -- especially exercise.

Severe pain in the neck
So in Oct last year I was told that the discs in my neck are pressing on my spinal cord which is causing me to loose sensation in my hands and I'm in constant severe pain , I was told I needed surgery as soon as it was possible but I'm still waiting, everytime I phone my surgeon's secretary I'm told

Headaches
I’ve always suffered with headaches….For the past 8/9 months they’ve become worse and for the past 5/6 weeks they have become daily. I’ve visited my doctor who said I was overdosing on analgesic over the counter drugs and to stop taking them immediately, write a headache diary and she would call me

Tims Run Clonakilty Marathon County Cork Ireland. My first marathon distance!
Yesterday was to be my first marathon. All went well apart from the weather where it rained continuously for a week. Unfortunately, it was cancelled on Thursday due to severe flooding and everyone was moved to half. There was an option to defer on Friday afternoon for next year, but I could not cancel

Need support with talking to GP/Private doctor. What should my next step be?
Within 2-3 days of it,
muscle
cramps, brain fogginess, mood swings, hair loss, ankle
pain
returned. It has been 4 weeks taking it now, and my weight has started increasing again while my diet and lifestyle have remained the same as before.
