Neck and Shoulder pain. Bad at night, getting little sleep.
I have neck and shoulder pain which radiates down my arms. The only painkiller I can take is paracetamol as I take warfarin. The GP says it's due to taking Levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid. I've been taking both medications for over 10 years and woder about long term use. The pain is constant

Hi, this is very random but I’ve been suffering from leg pain and weakness for a couple days now. My work involves standing all day and I’m usually exhausted every day but recently the last few days my legs have been killing. I’ve tried different pain killers and they only provide very small relief

Hyperthyroidism with possible pancreatic pain
I have been loosing a lot of
muscle
(I suspect Graves as loosing 2Ib a week) but the
pain
and inability to eat much isn't normal for hyperthroidism and I think it is in the area of the pancreas.

Feeling considerably better but fleeting pain in upper arm
It goes once I stretch and rub the
muscle
. When I first got PMR it started with
pain
in both muscles in upper arms and if I can rightly remember was a similar pain but more intense.

Mum in extreme pain
My Mum has been suffering with a Prolapse for the past 5 months and it has caused incredible amounts of pain. The pain seems to be easier when she first wakes up in the morning - to the point where she says she is completely resolved. For context, she has been diagnosed with a Stage 2 rectocele and

How do you get taken seriously when 'You look well"
How do you get medical professionals to see that you feel absolutely awful-when you look well? Nothing about me looks as if Im sick and I plod on. But Ive got long term gastritis/IBS/GERD and at present, seem to be stuck in an unending loop of pain and IBS symptoms which vary all the time and have

I am to continue with my current medication, enzalutamide, though at a stronger dose> I am to take morphine to counteract the worst side effect,
muscle
pain
. This will also help with the ache I have in my pelvis, where I had radiation.

Painful sciatica
Hi. I have spondylosthesis (bulging disc), L5 area and, having seen a surgeon at the Whittington Hospital, am now on a waiting list for facet joint injections. For the past several months I've had sciatica -- pain down the backs of both legs, worse when it rains (I can tell when it's going to rain) and

Pain above molar teeth that runs across jaw and left side of head.
Hi, I have been suffering from an ache above my top molar teeth on my left hand side. I have had the pain on a few occasions over the last few years which have always cleared up after 5-10 days. My dentist never found a problem but gave me antibiotics a couple of times in case it was a sinus infection

My first post: diagnostic laparoscopy didn't find anything but the horrible pain is still there
Hello, this is my first post here and I apologise for how long it is. I guess I am looking for some hope and advice. I am feeling really upset today because I had another phone call with my new gp who seems not to listen to me. I am forty, I’ve always suffered from bad periods (so did my mum and

Total newbie to PD
Apart from having several falls, resting one sided tremors and having had a series of clinical neurological tests to establish my
pain
, lack of flexibility in
muscle
tone and some memory /brain fog problems - I am in reasonable health. I’ve had no scans or nerve signal examinations.

Is my pain due to decomp cirrhosis? I think so…
Hi, has anyone experienced
pain
( feels like a sore pulled
muscle
) in the back behind liver area and I’ve also been getting some short sharp pain occasionally to the left of the liver area. I was told this might be gallstones which I only found out I have.

I have extreme fatigue, hair loss, histamine reactions and a lot of

, weakness, heart racing. My pharmacist said to reset the t3 stop for a week then restart. So I went back up to 5mcg and dropped the other 4.5mcg.
