Changing from 10mg Afinitor to 7.5.
The side effects were severe; mouth sores,
muscle
and joint
pain
, extreme change with taste buds, no appetite on 10mg. Did anyone else have to decrease the afinitor dosage? And did the side effects improve?

Finally received Endo diagnosis following laparoscopy... advice/support for next steps please!
Hi Everyone, I had investigative laparoscopy surgery back in October this year. I finally had my endometriosis diagnosed (it's only taken 18 years, for someone to truly listen), it was removed along with scarring and I had a mirena coil fitted. The validation I had after the surgery was unlike anything

Total newbie to PD
Apart from having several falls, resting one sided tremors and having had a series of clinical neurological tests to establish my
pain
, lack of flexibility in
muscle
tone and some memory /brain fog problems - I am in reasonable health. I’ve had no scans or nerve signal examinations.

Can PMR weakened muscle cause curvature of the spine?
I understand how a compression fracture could cause sudden
pain
and height loss, but how can a
muscle
in my upper back suddenly let go?! It caused a bit wedge of muscle below my breast and I have to dig in really deep to find my sternum!

Versus Arthritis: Fatigue
Muscle
pain
, arthritis and fatigue are symptoms of Sweet's syndrome. Fatigue is not the same as ordinary tiredness.

RA, Sjogrens desease, Cataracts in both eyes, now Lupus?
Hi All, Can anyone tell me if there is any medication that can help with Lupus? I’m taking Hydroxychloroquine, + several pain killers. The Sjogrens is causing a lot of problems with my eyes, now Lupus is showing it’s ugly head. It would be nice if anyone has any help they can offer.

Hyperthyroidism with possible pancreatic pain
I have been loosing a lot of
muscle
(I suspect Graves as loosing 2Ib a week) but the
pain
and inability to eat much isn't normal for hyperthroidism and I think it is in the area of the pancreas.

No Prednisone, is it dangerous?
Going of prednisone and I was at12mg for awhile. Then suddenly there was a mixup at the pharmacy and now I've gone 2mg a day and now I have no pred. at all, and the drs won't call back with refills. Is it dangerous to go without pred for a few days?? I have been doing very well without too much pain

The Pain Clinic has suggested I take Tapentadol. I can't find anything about it on the internet. Has anybody taken this drug and could tell me about it.

off pred…. Update
good morning all. I have now been ‘off’ pred for 6 weeks. It’s been a bumpy ride. I started to have pain in my knees and thighs, which made walking and exercise difficult( never had this before). I took pain killers and reminded myself that the HPA triangle may not be up to speed. I started hydrotherapy

The

was excruciating. The main
muscle
in my jaw was rock solid. She referred me to a specialist physio who deals with jaw conditions. I've had to learn to eat differently and do a series of exercises 3 x per day. The change has been extraordinary.

Yet more scans, and still stable.
I think I let you all know somewhere here, that I may have to change treatments, due to my Cancer markers rising all the time. I’m feeling more and more pain. Getting more and more tired. But they can’t see anything changing on my scans. so I will remain on Anastrozole and Ibrance for now. This is both
