You could try a TENS machine to help block nerve signals causing pain. Quite a few brands are designed for periods and endometriosis so can be worn discreetly under your clothes. I would push for further investigation into your painful periods, especially if you have other symptoms like heavy bleeding, painful sex, painful ovulation, bladder symptoms or bowel symptoms. Drs are often very dismissive of woman's health issues. A good regime of ibuprofen and paracetamol started a couple of days before the period is due may help too. Doctors can prescribe stronger pain relief if the pain is dehabilitating you.Feel better soon 🙂

im going through this at moment. Im 53 periods been heavy but its the cramps and back ache. My sides feel sore. I was diagnosed in September with various fibroids of different sizes. Gp has referred me to gynae awaiting an appointment. Ask for a scan.
