My total results so far. Opinions?

Hello everyone, I'm back!

This time I made a chart with all my results so far, at the moment I'm on 5mg carbimazole daily, I started on 10 mg and stay for about 6 weeks until my second result on 20/12/22 when my Dr dropped to 5mg. I have 3 questions:

1-Is it possible to have both high anti tpo and Trab? does that mean I have Graves and Hashimotos?

2- What is your opinion on my vitamin levels? should I add any vitamin? I was thinking about taking some multivitamin but I can not find one without iodine here in NZ.

3- I started to feel a little shaky again, palpitations and a bit dizzy sometimes, I was feeling so good a couple weeks ago :(

Any tips to improve my wellbeing is much appreciated :)

Positive anti tpo occurs with both hashi & Graves autoimmune conditions.  It’s the positive Trab? Which confirms Graves.

Having both is difficult to confirm. often periods or hypothyroid occur with unexpected fluctuations. There no reason to assume this would start happening.

vitamin levels are not terrible.  Folate could be raised, (Methylfolate not folic acid).  Avoid multivitamins not only do the add things like iodine they often contain cheaper least absorbable forms in low amounts (too low to meaningfully raise a deficiency)

Symptoms can be caused by fluctuating levels.  Once stable they should settle, your levels are going in right direction.

When diagnosed Graves and Hashimoto's - Graves treatment takes precedence as Graves is said to be life threatening if not treated :

With Graves you will likely experience phases of either blocking or stimulating antibody interference as these two extremes of symptoms vie for control and there will likely be phases of relative calm when these two off set each other, leaving you feeling relatively ' normal ' for you :

The AT drug is there to block your T3 and T4 levels rising and you are on a low maintenance dose but if your immune system ' takes off ' and becomes very active again you will likely experience further symptoms, and the AT drug will be titrated up and down according to this phase of the disease.

There is no way of controlling Graves once it gets going and all we can try and do is offset the extremes of symptoms by taking the AT drug and adjusting it as necessary while we wait for your immune system response to calm down.

Generally this first phase of Graves is treated with an AT drug for around 15-18 months though the most current research is suggesting that the longer the patient stays on the AT drug the better the outcome for the patient.

I have already sent you the most current research papers and the link to Elaine Moore's website where you can read around Graves and what you can do to help yourself, and suggestions on how you can try and calm down your immune system response and more holistic and complimentary treatment options you may like to consider.
