A BONUS EPISODE FROM SUPPLEMENTS REVEALED
I think we often feel lost and alone when our symptoms flare and no one to turn to. This series has been comforting and offers us hope because these doctors who are also biochemists or microbiologists are trying to find ways to help us in this journey and search for our best life. https://supplementsrevealed.com

In Defence of Vaping
Looking through related posts I can see that my views in support of vaping will cause consternation among many here. Anyway, here goes....... 70 year old male, sustained moderate to heavy tobacco user for more than 50 years. Diagnosed with moderate copd in 2010. Switched to vaping 2013 and vaping high

REM related OSA
Hi. I'm new to this sleep board. Depending on which sleep study you look at, I either have very mild sleep apnea or moderate sleep apnea. The only consistent thing my Dr. can identify is that the more REM I have, the more "events" I have. So he thinks I have REM related OSA and wants to put me on

End stage copd update
Update, mums gone progressively worse since I wrote my post about end stage symptoms. She’s not waking much, phoned ambulance 3 times since Friday. Nothing much they can do when they come out. Last night they upped the oxygen slightly, she’s a retainer and has a cpap but is now refusing that, I think

RIP Dad
My Dad took his last breath around 9.19pm. What an absolute rollercoaster of suffering and decline this has been for him. There was absolutely no let up for him and we had only got a CPap machine for him yesterday. He didn’t even get a chance to suppress any of the symptoms. 😭😭😭😭

Good day all! I have A Fib/Flutter on sotalol & eliquis. I want very much to get off meds if at all possible. In October I had a bad month with several bouts of AF, not my norm. By the end of the month was preparing (mentally) for ablation. Just needed to schedule. Then at the same time I finally

Sleep Apnea
I’ve got AF and just been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and have started with a CPAP Machine. However on the third night of trying to sleep but struggling to get comfortable with the machine I woke up around 5.30. and had palpitations. An AF attack had started and is calming down now with the help

TPO and TG thyroid antibodies & anti depressants
Good health to all in 2020! Could someone please explain why it is important to have TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested? I finally found a decent endo. who accepts that more than TSH needs to be tested. Only he doesn’t think it necessary to check TPO & TG. He explained why at the end of a long

How Sleep Apnea Differs in Women
At the 39 minute mark of this podcast there is an interesting piece on how sleep apnea can be different in women and the overall AHI numbers may not be the best measurement. Apparently women often have an issue with REM. This is exactly what happened in my sleep study. I had a large number of apneas

2nd MRE Score....
Hi, I hope everyone is doing well for wherever they find themselves in their PBC journey❤. Last year in November I had my first Elastography test. My Kpa score was 3.14kpa. My hepatologist didnt seem concerned. My most recent blood tests are about the same, everything normal except my fluctuating Alkaline

Colloidal Silver, DMSO, MSM
Has anyone heard of the above or tried colloidal silver for pain (Rheumatoid Arthritis)? A friend introduced me to some 5 different samples last week and the pain seems to go away immediately after applying just a pea sized gel on my wrist. She also sent me papers on it to research. Its obviously
