Hi, I recently been fitted with a
mirena
coil and it was absolutely fine but it is making my endo pain worse. Did anyone else have any similar problems and did it settle down after a while? Thank you xx

Considering lap and Mirena
I'm considering getting the
Mirena
and possibly the lap (I want to avoid the surgery option if possible) and I'm looking for advice on the
Mirena
seeing as I'm not sexually active. Would it be painful for a couple of days?

Question
As I have the
Mirena
which I hate however it is suppressing the growth of endometriosis and I have had my endometriosis removed in July last year but I am concerned if the coil is removed then it may grow back again.

Lost and looking for advice ...
I have had issues with my periods and cramping since I was 11, they were so heavy and painful that the doctors sent me for a procedure to get a
mirena
coil inserted at 15 , purely to stop my periods, which it did.

Endometriosis surgery 2 months ago. New rib pain
I was diagnosed with endometriosis, following diagnostic laparoscopy in 2015 where they removed the endometriosis from my ovaries, bowel, POD and uterus, they inserted the
mirena
coil at the same time. I also had adhesions at this stage. I had a reoccurrence in 2016.

Pain in left side - mirena coil to blame?
I have the
mirena
coil. It has been in almost 3 years. My mother thinks this may be the cause of my problem. First couple of years were fine. Periods stopped. Occasionally felt like my body was trying to have a period(bloating, sore boobs) but no bleeding.

Period a week after laparoscopy/hysreroscopy
Hi All I had my Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy last Saturday as well as having the
Mirena
inserted. I had excision surgery on my womb and UV fold. I am due on my period and the pains I’m getting are the the same awful sharp pains, with back pain and hot dragging leg pain. All the same as before.
