Suffered with Endometriosis. Fibroids and cyst since I was 18 I am 49 now and still going through it today. I wasn't able to have not even one child due to the Endo, fibroids & Cysts has damaged one of my fallopian tubes. And they could not offer me a a hysterectomy because my endo is inside my womb but also outside the womb. I used to be on depo Vera that workind amazing but stop working after 7 to 10yrs. Now am on the Mirena coil and that has worked very well I am happy with it no more period pains no more sickness no more cramps

Hi.Glad to hear positive account of the mirena coil! I'm the same, 42, no children and had endo since 15, fibroids they won't get rid of and repeated cysts. I was on prostap for 6mths before excision surgery which was supposed to shrink my fibroids but it didn't! Im 2 months into mirena and touch wood the constant period pain and nausea period or not, has gone!

Yep! It's still with me too. No children! I take painkillers including morphine. I have exhausted the drugs. Zoladex helped me stay in job. I am sadly a pretty lonely woman, partner left. Depression and pain. Coping solely can be frightening. Doing everything yourself is difficult and to meet anyone new when you feel rough. I so miss my Ex. I still cry. I've never been allowed to talk to him. There's is no closure. No good byes. I had no idea he was leaving. It been a hard week with new tests starting cos of extra symptoms, nausea, kidney infections, bladder urgent and bowel pain.
