Mirena pain?

I have the Mirena coil to suppress the growth of endo growth, however I have been getting pain in my pelvis around the area of my ovaries, frequent urination and the other day I got sever pain in my vagina (sorry if this is too much information) and I am unable to feel for the strings but I have a gyne appointment on Friday.

Hi, if you can’t feel the threads it may be out of position. Good that you have an appointment coming up.

The same happened to me. I expect they will want to do a transvaginal ultrasound to see the position the coil is in. I had to have it taken out and a new one put in.
