I had my Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy last Saturday as well as having the Mirena inserted. I had excision surgery on my womb and UV fold.
I am due on my period and the pains I’m getting are the the same awful sharp pains, with back pain and hot dragging leg pain. All the same as before.
Is this usual? I know I won’t be fully healed inside so am thinking that’s why, but I thought the leg pain would have gone is the endo was cut out? I know it takes at least 6 months for the coil to work so I’m not hopeful on that helping me just yet.
Any info will be useful.

Sorry that you're feeling so horrible at the moment.
I had the same worry: pain after op so I asked my consultant at my two week check up. He explained its because you've had endo removed but your body cant distinguish between endo pain and pain from removal of endo, it is just pain in that area, we associate it with endo because we know what it was and what it felt like; the leg pain could be just that the same nerves are irritated by the op as they were by endo which makes sense if it was removed, for the moment.
It takes time for the pain to go away, your body is healing, and can take a few months to feel completely normal. You've had an operation, rest up and relax
