Mirena problems
Has anyone experienced horrid symptoms with their
Mirena
? Been awake for 2 days. Cannot sleep, night sweats? Headache, nausea. I had the same last month. Really had enough now. The anxiety at night is horrendous!

Mirena coil removal.
Due to have my coil removed tomorrow as I’m having unbearable bleeding (I didn’t think before that it could get worse but I was wrong) awful moods and acne & horrendous pain! Although when I had my check up 6 weeks after I was told that my strings were too short. And when I try to feel them, I can’t

What next?
I had a laparoscopy 12 mths ago and they removed endometriosis and diagnosised adenomyosis and put a
mirena
coil in. I had complications and a surgical hernia which was repaired in July.

Hysterectomy date!
I've blamed the
mirena
coil, my lifestyle, everything - but I'm not sure if it's just me doing something wrong or if my hormones are playing a part in it with the coil, adeno and endo! Does anyone have any miracle tips? Or at least set my mind at rest that I'm not going mad! ❤️

Endometriosis symptoms- normal repeat laparoscopy (previously positive laparoscopy)
Since then treated successfully with
mirena
coil. In 2018 I had twin boys and had my
mirena
replaced within 6 months. Since then pain has come back- it’s exactly the same as before. I had another laparoscopy after waiting for 2yrs and IT WAS ALL CLEAR. How can that be?

NMDA Encephalitis and Contraception/Hormones
However, due to other health concerns such as PCOS, I am being offered the
Mirena
coil with minimal hormones. Can I ask about your experience with this and have you found hormones to interact with your encephalitis? Thanks,

Depo Injection
I am running out of options now as I have tried many different pills and the
mirena
coil. I had an unsuccessful endo expert excision surgery last year and I just really need something to help manage my symptoms.

Norethisterone
I have been using it pretty much for the last 4 years as I haven’t responded to anything including zoladex injections and the
mirena
coil. I’ve just had a scheduled break from the norethisterone (every 3 months) but I’m finding that it’s not working now that I’ve restarted it.

Recovery after lap, obliterated Pouch of Douglas
I also had the
mirena
coil inserted to help with adenomyosis. Some pain has gone which is great, but the bowel issues remain. I know it is early days yet but I wondered if anyone else had rectal pressure and ibs like symptoms remain after surgery. Just looking for some reassurance really.
