Advice on what to do next!
Hi all, hoping you're having a pain-free day! I'm hoping to pick your brains or have some advice one feedback on what others have done in a hopefully similar situation. I had my laparoscopy mid December 2016 where I was diagnosed with very superficial endometriosis on my pelvic peritoneum and uterosacral

Hi, i'm all new to this, been in pain for nearly 2 years, finally(this week) doctor suggested that i might have endometriosis, well he is nearly 100% sure. he suggested mirena and laparoscopy. I opted for Mirena first and then after 5 month to see him again and see how i get on. But the big question

Mirena coil
My gyne has asked me whether i would want them to put the Mirena coil in while i am having a laparoscopy but i am unsure whether to go ahead with it as my sister had a bad experience with hers. How have people found theirs?

Mirena - 6 months
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if they have experience of Mirena and bleeding post the six month mark. I'm still bleeding and spotting nearly every day and it's getting me down. I'm wondering if this means it's not right for me? X

Positive stories of Mirena Coil?
I was wondering if there are any ladies out there that can share any positive experiences of the minera coil? I am due to have one fitted during surgery but having read all the posts about it on here I am starting to wonder if it is a good idea. I don't suffer from heavy periods and although i have excruciating

Mirena coil
I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2011 and I've had two lots of surgery once in 2011 and then again in 2015. The endo has returned yet again but rather than more surgery my consultant has asked me to try the mirena coil which I had put in last Friday. I wasn't sure what to expect and I know I need

Pain everyday for 3 weeks
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing or can shed any light on this, I know endo can be unpredictable and we all have good months and bad months but recently I've been in pain everyday for about 3 weeks now. I'm on the mirena coil and my bleeds are a bit all over the place

Swollen Lymph nodes & Mirena
Let me preface this with "I will call the doc in the morning" but was wondering if anyone else had this experience: I had full excision surgery in October. My cycles have still been rough, so I got the Mirena (as the surgeon also suggested) 5 weeks ago. I've been spotting and cramping every day since

I had a Mirena coil fitted almost 7 years ago because of heavy periods. I'd tried endometrial ablation but it didn't work. I don't know when I went through the menopause as the coil Stopped my periods after a year of constant spotting. 4 weeks ago a had what seemed like a period and lasted for 5 days

First period after laparoscopy, dithermy and mirena
Hello! I had my laparoscopy last Monday (30-01-17) and found that I had grade 1 endometriosis pretty much all over. The spots were burnt away and a mirena coil fitted. I have been in a lot of pain since and had to go back to my GP for stronger pain killers which I am still taking. I didn't bleed at

Minor op for mirena coil this friday
Hello, After some reassurance and advice please, I have my appointment through i have to go to my hospital this Friday 10th Feb to have a minor op to have the coil fitted. I may have to have it under local anaesthetic due to complications in the past. I'm looking for advice from people who've had this

Endometriosis from a LLETZ that went wrong
Hi all - has anyone else been diagnosed with endometriosis after an operation? I had a LLETZ and 10 days later haemorrhaged and was operated on under general. Then, a few months later I started getting extreme pain (like being in the worst stage of labour!) around the time of my period but then there

Bleeding with mirena coil
I had the mirena coil fitted 2 and half years ago. It's been great, had no problems until today. Started bleeding really heavy. Is this normal?

Hi I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2011 by [edited to comply with our code of conduct] He removed all the endo he could find. He did say that he also suspected adenomyosis. I was offered the chance to have a mirena coil fitted alongside the laparoscopy, but I wanted to see how much benefit I
