Mirena - 6 months

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if they have experience of Mirena and bleeding post the six month mark. I'm still bleeding and spotting nearly every day and it's getting me down. I'm wondering if this means it's not right for me? X

Yes. I didn't really bleed at all with it for around the first 5 months, maybe a bit of spotting which was great except for the other side effects. Then I started bleeding regularly and it seemed like it was losing effect. I recently had it removed and I'm glad I did. You could just be going through a short phase of bleeding and it will subside. I couldn't handle the side effects so for me that was the issue.

Did not work for me had what felt like a two year long period. Then had it removed.
