I had my laparoscopy on the 6th of feb where they found endo and treated. As well as that they fitted a mirena coil in to see how I’d get on with one...
Well first period since and I’ve been bleeding for 10 days now! Is this normal? My usual periods are roughly 4-6 days depending and are so heavy. This is just light!
Thank you xx

I haven’t had my Laparoscopy yet due to have it in 18 days but I’ve had the Mirena Coil in and my body hated it and rejected it so much.. but why I had it first put in I was bleeding so much and went to the doctors about it they said it’s just my body getting used to it... if the bleeding has stopped by about the 2 week mark then going to your doctors he might be able to give you something...
Hope you recovering well from your Lap and hope the period isn’t coursing you so much pain
Hi! I had my lap with extensive endo removed and mirena inserted on 2nd Feb and I’ve been getting light bleeding on and off for about two weeks, with a couple of heavier days, and also been getting a fair bit of cramping/pain. Went back to the doc this week and he said it was pretty normal, and that the coil can take 6 months to settle. Hoping it improves quicker!!
