Ok, so initially when the consultant yesterday mentioned things such as HRT, temporary menopause, depot injection, etc., in my head I immediately thought um no thank you. Was anyone like me and then cautiously tried something? The main issue I have is that both my mental health and migraines are worsened by messing with hormones. My migraines are worse the week before my period. I also really didn't get on with the mirena coil.

Hello, I cautiously tried the mini pill- it helped with some symptoms but made me crazy depressed so i had to stop taking it. I was then made to try the mirena. To be fair it has helped with bleeding as I have not had a period since it was put in, however I’m still getting cyclical pain and bowel/bladder problem also cyclical. I’m waiting to see what the consultant try’s next! I think some things are worth a go x
