It's only been a week since your lap so you'll still be recovering. the body needs time to heal; it's been through an op. It can take up to a month to fully feel yourself. You've been put under, had a cut all the way through all your abdomen layers, been inflated with gas, prodded and poked with a camera and other instruments, that's quite a bit to recover from quickly. I felt exhausted, kind of wiped out after.

fibroids are still a problem, so don't feel down that they didn't find endo, they found something else that you could have symptoms relating to. So at least you may know what could be causing problems, that's a step in the right direction?

be patient with yourself, focus on some you time, find something to keep your mind out of feeling low, easier said than done I know, break the circle, do something you enjoy and smile xx

Yeah I’m usually a very active person and iv been stuck in all week so not helping I suppose I’m a bit confused. My op was to remove a blocked Fallopian tube drain a small cyst and check for endo I have had blood in my urine off and on for over a year so we’re doing bladder investigation also. Since speaking to surgeons secretary the letter said that he did non of that and fitted the marina coil to help with pelvic and ovulation pain we had discussed this before op so feeling bit confused 🤷‍♀️

Did he have your permission to fit the coil? He shouldn't do that unless you've said you've wanted it, and signed for it.

Did he explain why he didn't do any of the things he said he would? An outline for the op is so you know what's going to be done and they carry it out. If they don't do what they've said they should give a reason why it wasn't possible.

You should aim to investigate and complain to the surgery / practice manager. If you don't want to do that you can ask for all your notes, including the consultation notes and refer it to another specialist for a second opinion (you're entitled to that)

Hi yeah we had discussed that a marina coil would be good idea and I agreed but at the time was sure I had endo because of all the symptoms and thought would help, I phoned his secretary today and she said the letter has no reason why they didn’t need to do what they said they were going to do. Just that none of it was nessesery i didn’t realise that a fluid in fullpoian tube would go away on its own and wonder why they didn’t just keep an eye with vaginal scan if that was the case and do the urology test as I still have no answer to the blood in urine and bladder pain xx thanks for your response just feeling a bit confused x
