Too much Progesterone

Hi,

I am very anxious and worried: Five years ago I had the Mirena coil fitted. (I am due to have this removed on Thursday - the reason I am 59 years old plus, apparently the coil as stopped producing Progesterone?).

The problem is that over these 5 years I have been prescribed HRT... Combi (which has both Progesterone and Estrogen?).

I saw a GP from the surgery last wk, (My mother sadly died last wk and I am really suffering with Depression and horrendous Perimenopause/Menopause mental health symptoms - severe depression and anxiety).

I think I have been the subject of Negligence? I was prescribed Combi HRT for at least 2/3 years.

Are there long term effects of too much Progesterone?

I am feeling very distrought along with other issues.

I don't know what to do...?
