Mirena coil removed but no periods!!?

Hi. I had my Mirena coil removed on the 21st Dec ‘18, I then had a very heavy period with lots of clots between the 7th and 10th of jan ‘19, since then I’ve not had any periods, the week before I was due in feb had all the signs (spots, cranky and tummy cramps) but no period. Noticed my boobs are swollen and did feel sore but they’ve settled now, taken multiple pregnancy tests all negative. My husband and I want to start trying for a baby and it’s really getting me down that I’m not having periods and feel a failure! GP has just said it’s my hormones regulating and I just wondered if anyone else has been through this and how long it should take to have a normal cycle again. Thanks
