misunderstood peri -menopause treatment
I had a very traumatic experience in my peri menopause. Due to heavy bleeding and clotting in my last 2 years of peri menopause I was hospitalized with an anemia. Given tablets to help stem bleeding and they caused jaundice. Was offered hysteroscopy under NHS however not given the option for sedation

Estrogel 2 weeks
Hi all, I’m two weeks into using Estrogel 2 pumps everyday , but I have now started having period pain/ cramps , feeling sick , light headed and feel generally unwell. The obvious thing to do is to go see my gp, but just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced this? Will it ease the longer

Help please
I had endo surgery in 2016 after 10 years of pushing for a diagnosis. I was found to have extensive scaring at the front (across section scar) and endo going into my bowel. I've had urinary symptoms for years, although they've never looked into this. I was told I had DIE.After surgery I fell pregnant

patch
Hiya, I wondered if anyone with a mirena coil has ended up using the patch too? If so, how are you finding it? I’ve been recommended it for stage 4 endo, surgery is 2+ years waiting list. I don’t react too well to hormones, but I’m at a point where it can’t be worse. I’ve also seen posts about dienogest

Advice on shrinking endometrioma
Hi, I've been recently diagnosed with endo and have a large endometrioma on my ovary. I've been advised the only way to get rid of it is with surgery. However I'm weighing up whether surgery is worth it due to A) the risks of other organs being damaged and potentially losing my ovary and B) it still

Adeno diagnosis...I think? Should I still have a lap???
Hi! If anyone has any experience of this or advice I'm all ears.....Following ultrasounds for pelvic pain that showed i had a bulky womb, small fibroids, plus a polyp at the top of my cervix, I had an MRI done. Just spoke to my gp who said MRI noted 'thickening of the junctional zone up to 11mm, with

still unsure about hysterectomy, been waiting over 1 year for op date, and taken a year to see consultant for a discussion

Having a mirena coil was a positive thing for me, as stopped alot of the pain and heaviness of

Replacement Mirena and weird symptoms
Hello everyone, I’ve been diagnosed this last year with endo on bowel, uterus and ovaries, fibroids and adenomyosis, had symptoms for 20 years however. I had my Levosert coil changed in November back to a Mirena. I always had relief from Mirenas in the past, especially for the first 18 months of having

Mirena and spotting
I had a Mirena fitted 5 weeks ago to help with endometriosis. I've had light bleeding/spotting ever since which shows no sign of stopping. I'm not sure I would have gone for the Mirena if I'd known as I don't need it for contraception. Anyone able to advise on how long this is likely to last?

Should I be worried about this pain after laparoscopy?
hi all, I had a laparoscopy in the middle of January with an endo and adenomyosis diagnosis and excision as well as insertion of the mirena coil. For the past two weeks or so I’ve been getting really intense pelvic pains. It seems to come in waves almost like cramps but is really painful around the

Right shoulder pain made worse by mirena
I wondered if anyone else had experienced referred right shoulder pain as a result of endometriosis? They think it is growing on my diaphragm as the pain comes and goes with my cycle. I went back on the pop to control it but the Dr suggested mirena coil instead. The lower dose of hormone is not controlling

Endometrioma but without having endometriosis??
Hi, looking for a little advice . So....bit of a long story (so sorry). I am 41 years old and have had 4 c sections. I have been having much more heavier periods( but always been an issue ) since the birth of my little boy who is 2. So much so I am going very anaemic and totally wiped out each month.
