Brain metastasis
[1] When I began reading PCa studies on PubMed, I saw a lot of cell studies that used LNCaP (from a lymph PCa cell), PC3 (from a bone PCa cell) &/or DU145 (supposedly a brain met cell, but now described as "derived from a central nervous system
metastasis
") cells.

In December 2022 following diagnoses of advanced prostate cancer with multiple bone
metastasis
I started zytiga + prednisone and 6 monthly triptorelin injections every 6 months, (unfortunately triplet therapy is not part of SOC in Scotland).

Rising PSA
CT with contrast showed what they described as “Unchanged” Lymph node suspicious for cancer
metastasis
yet not conclusive. Does he need some other type scan? Should he proceed with radiation on “suspicious” lymph?

Metastatic prostate cancer in the lungs
I'm fully aware that distant
metastasis
to organs without bone or lymph node involvement is rare so I'm working under the assumption that it will show its ugly head at some point. Is there anyone on the site that has a similar diagnosis that can give me their history? Current PSA is now <.01.

. Put on ADT in March 2024 - Orgovyx, Abiraterone and Prednisone in preparation for Radiation. Radiation started in June 2024. Completed 3 sessions of Cyber knife (prostate) and 17 of 21 sessions of IMRT (whole Pelvic to deal with RSV and with any micro invasion of lymph nodes).

Treatment update-is SBRT missing the lesions ?
Radiation 35 Gray 5/5 completed 3/15/23 with PSA drop then bounce from 0.24 to 5.9 triggered another PET on 9/6/23 which showed a new
metastasis
in same area. Same radiation again on 10/25/23 didn't get it with PET showing larger area in hip.

not PCa related but promising in vivo therapy for cancer metastasis
”The polymer eliminates colorectal cancer liver metastases and prolongs mice survival, after only a single-dose therapy. The findings were published in Nano Today, a leading journal in the field of nanotechnology.” https://m.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/article-795801

5 aRIs and PCa and recurrence.
There seems in a general sense in cases like mine it’s not clear, but if my PSA reaches 0.5 or greater data indicates there is a window between 0.5 & 0.8 of benefit with RT regarding development of
metastasis
. Waiting beyond 0.8 or 1 those such benefits are greatly diminished.

Ct showed tumor but not on colonoscopy
The ct scan showed a large (6 cm) ill defined mass at the junction of the descending and sigmoid colon in addition to a nodule on his lower lung which the report stated was suspicious for
metastasis
. He was referred for a colonoscopy which did not find the tumor.

Post treatment post ADT time to PSMA test
At the same time adjuvant ADT should be taken longer if there is some
metastasis
. I guess the best scenario would have been to fly overseas to get the scan beforehand but I didn’t. Any input appreciated. Thanks!

Looking For Prostate Cancer Survivors For Friendship And/Or Dating
There was no
metastasis
and there has been no indication of cancer metastasizing since. My PSA has been 0.04 since the treatment ended. I know it sounds weird, but I am looking for prostate cancer survivors for friendship and/or dating, or just someone to talk to about our experience(s) and lives.

PSA 6 months after RT
He found that the 6-month post-RT PSA was highly prognostic of 5- and 10-year rates of
metastasis
free survival (MFS), Overall Survival (OS), and prostate cancer mortality (PCSM).

bone met pain or something else ?
We called the nurse and she sent my mom to the orthopedic ambulatory office and they took X rays where they ruled out
metastasis
on the femur. The doctor ordered a bone scan for this Friday so I guess we will see then. I guess what I’m asking is does anyone have a similar experience?
