What next after Ibrance? - Verzenio, Kisquali, Xeloda & more
Dear friends, After 1.5 years on Ibrance/Fulvestrant and a very short time in NED status (great while it lasted...) my cancer reappeared this spring. I've just had an axillary lymph node dissection, removing all the known cancerous spots, and now the question is what will be my meds going forward.

Please those who were given Xeloda for tumors in the liver that keep growing.
The tamoxifen and afinitor I was on for two months has done nothing. I had my CT scan six weeks early on Tuesday, read it on my portal on Wednesday and today met with my onco. She said the last option is Xeloda (capche.....(generic name). I told 8 pills, 4 twice a day for one week and then one week

I am apprehensive to write this - but HOLY COW!
Amazing how the
metastasis
shows up like a light bulb rather than like a shade of gray on a bone scan. There is a bright spot on my spine but nothing else! I have had over 25 boney
metastasis
all over my torso for 4 years. The doctor says that they are dead ! So how happy should I be?

Stearic Acid & Oleic Acid
"Based on preliminary observations and the growing evidence that visceral fat is related to
metastasis
and decreased survival, we hypothesized that dietary stearic acid may reduce visceral fat."

Dental Care Issues
I have been on Ibrance and Femara for 2-1/2 years now. I am having gum problems but periodontist doesn't want to treat me because I am considered "high risk". I am also on Zometa bone infusion once every three months. It is so frustrating since I can't get gum treatment. Has anyone had this issue

I’m looking for some “positive “ input from anyone who has been on Xeloda. Hopefully there is someone who can give me some insight in to what to expect. And how long you were on it. I have been on Ibrance (4 years) and Hormonal treatment for a total of 5 years. My last treatment was Tamoxifen. After

Originally I was found to have multiple
metastasis
on my upper skeletal frame, therefore the Docetaxel. Theses were not seen on any CT scan that i took prior to traement, but were found by PET Scan. I am scheduling another PET in about a month.

treatment change
For those of you that have lobular, what was your second line treatment after ibrance/letrezole or similar combo? My onco seems to be leaving it up to me on what treatment I want to try. Not sure if I go with a parp since I have brca 2 mutation or xeloda or afinitor plus aromasin? Do I go for a trial

Chest Compression from Breast Implants Worsening Pleural Effusions?
I was surprised I couldn’t find any studies released to this. Obviously breast implants will not generally be the cause of pleural effusions, but if you develop pleural effusions from other causes, I would think it’s at least plausible that implants in irradiated areas where you’ve lost skin elasticity

Good news about chemo - second hand
I know we all fear running out of options and having to go to chemo. That is how my oncologist presented it to me when I was first diagnosed with mbc. The hair loss, the nausea, the extended infusions. On the other hand, from everything I have read, it is most effective. There is a woman in my building
