Newly discovered stem cell offers clues to a cancer mystery.
“When patients have spine
metastasis
, that’s usually toward the end of the line,” Goodwin said. Average survival, he said, is between 10 and 14 months once cancer reaches the spine, “with some patients surviving much less than that.”

palliative radiation treatment questions
As he’s not on the Goserelin ADT treatment, it would seem that
metastasis
will continue. 1- I don’t understand why the radiation treatment would not change the trajectory of the disease.

Luteolin, ellagic acid and punicic acid and prostate cancer metastasis
Ok here we go again, excuse me if this was already gone over. I know Pomegranate has stated benefits, but in combo with these other supps may increase the benefits according to this study done on patients and our favored friends, the mice- lol. For me if it can't harm and may help then why not.

Another notice of passing that prompt me to update my profile.
In my opinion, I suppose the most important thing is that the treatments avoid potential problems such as bone
metastasis
and the pain that accompanies it or that the possible heart failure of the treatments and the side effects are eliminated.

Is 3 yrs ADT with the first 2 years including abiraterone better than 2 yrs ADT with abiraterone in terms of survival or
metastasis
free survival. I am 18 months into ADT with abiraterone.

A recent CT scan had showed lumbar spine
metastasis
. Two weeks ago I was startled on Faslodex injections, while awaiting PET scan, which is Monday. After it, she will know where to biopsy, which will determine treatment plan. CA27.29 marker jumped from under 28 to 380.

Met Bone Pain Vs Normal Bone / Muscle Pain
It would be beneficial if we could somewhat determine whether our typical aging bone aches and pains are related to PCa

or not. Thoughts?

My trajectory after a "vacation" and a new metastasis
I will meet with my oncologist on 12/5/23 and, as I understand it from discussions prior to the last scan, there are, in principle, 3 possible ways to proceed: (1) wait, test for PSA, and watch what happens, hoping for a plateau; (2) radiate the new
metastasis
(ses); (3) begin doublet or triplet therapy
