I jave neen daignosed with Metastasis breast cancer stage 4. I am on capecitabine 500 mg 2 tabs and capecitabine 150 mg tablet 2 tabs . Two weeks tablets and one week off . Now my onc wants to change to faslodex .but I dont know how many sesions. Please tell me if it is pain ful

We found out yesterday mums OC has metastasised to the brain. We don’t have a treatment plan yet although radiotherapy has been mentioned. Three research groups recently independently elucidated the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms driving prostate cancer metastasis.

The doctor says it’s definitely metastasis to the lung. I’m wondering if anyone had or have this problem and what the dr started them on. I know this was kind of long, sorry.

I wrote last week about a spot on my right lung, that my oncologist thought it was not prostate metastasis but bona find lung cancer. They did a PET scan and a brain scan last week, and fortunately there was no evidence of any metastasis in the brain.

My Abdo and Pelvis came back with no evidence of metastasis. My Chest one came back finding two (2mm and 5mm) nodules in my lung as well as some opacities (which I had before). It says no specific evidence of metastasis and that these are commonly found but will need to be followed.

The PSA is increasing (in the teens), but again, no sign of metastasis on the scan.

But the fact that they are both hormonal cancers and the fact that this molecule is targeted (very succesfully in vivo) to bone metastasis, makes me say "keep an eye on this!"

I do believe that my combo treatment of ibrance 125, & faslodex worked to keep my original metastasis stable. ( lesion on T6). My oncologist is with memorial Sloan Kettering.

Is there a current Cancer Center that is a leader in immunotherapy Would there be any benefit in taking provenge after treatment when your PSA is low?

Looking for any information regarding liver metastasis from ovarian cancer. I believe I have a 4cm tumor in my liver. What is the treatment plan for this? More importantly, what is the time frame? Am I looking at my last few months? Any information is much appreciated. God Bless you all.

What bothers me is this article from Frontiers of Oncology in August,26 , 2022 " The SUV Max can discriminate PCA metastasis Degree & Oligo Metastasis Status.

Curious about the difference in Para Aortic Lymph nodes as opposed to Retroperitoneal lymph nodes in PC metastasis… other than their location in the body. Thanks!
