Abdominal wall hernia 13.7x7cm to be fixed with mesh. Concerned about this.
I have been told I can choose to have the above fixed by undergoing extensive surgical repair or live with it. I am in my late 40s and really don't want to do this given that I am also experiencing gall bladder sludge which could turn into stones in the future. The surgeon explained that if that were

I WANT TO PUT SOMEONE'S MIND AT EASE AFTER MY FIRST COLONOSCOPY
Hiya guys, I'll try to keep this as brief but as informative as possible to try and help someone. This whole thing started about 2/3 years ago when I started suffering with a stomachache here and there. It would wake me up in the middle of the night because it was that intense at times. This stomachache

Radiation v cryosurgery
I had an interesting conversation with my research doctor today. We were discussing the long term effects of radiation to the prostate. He told me since that since the effects of radiation are so long lasting, he would always recommend cryosurgery, especially for younger men. He said he has had great

Continuous constipation Dr's unwilling to help 😭
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can offer some kind of help. My 4 nearly 5(dec) son has suffered with constipation all his life, he didn't have a first poo until nearly 30hrs after he was born. The main problems he suffers is his stomach doesn't seem to push anything through. So he'll eat anything bloat massively

Pulsatile tinnitus
Hi. I hit the top of my head against a wooden beam when standing up. Since then i have had numerous issues with balance, heart rate palpatations, irratic blood pressure and pulsatile tinnitus. chryotherapy
My local spa offers cryotherapy for arthritis. Has anyone tried this for RA and had any effect? I tried having a full body massage to help ease my aches but ended up hurting all over! A cold shower helps but I can’t spend all day in there. Does anyone have some good tips please ?

Where on earth did nursery rhymes come from 🤔
Well, here we are W6 done! 25mins - never thought it would happen We chose a less undulating riverside run, perfect day of warm sunshine and a gentle cooling breeze. Pupsters running alongside, diving off for the distracting sniffs every now and then. So, watch set (I don’t run with my phone) niko

Found this in Waitrose (Bit pricey!) Lovely creamy Oat Kefir. Dairy, soya and gluten free... Edit ** Found a recipe they use milk grains**
£3!! and rather annoyingly really nice... heck I'm worth it! I only went in for a sneaky sushi treat 😏 Edit... actually cheaper in Waitrose as they sell the 500g where as the other only sell 250g £1.85 Oat Base (Water, Gluten-Free Oats (11%), Sunflower Oil, Salt), Coconut Cream, Stabilisers (Tapioca

Traditional Mediterranean diet and warfarin
I am 5 weeks post mechanical valve replacement. I'm on 8/7 alternating warfarin. I am 26 and was brought up on a Mediterranean diet which I have not been following since discharge because I have been avoiding the higher vitamin K foods. I have also been eating much more meat and high protein food than

Constipation
It seems like every 2 weeks there are more facets to this problem. I take Miralax every day, Colace every other day - drink constantly - and now I have huge BM feelings and go to the bathroom and feel like I''ve accomplished something - then I look and it is not at all what it felt like - smallish,

Advice please
Hi, I am due to have a hysterectomy in October. Ovaries are going too and there's a strong chance of bowel resection due to recto sigmoid endometriosis. If anyone has any advice for recovery or can share their experience I would be grateful. Thank you Aimee
