Dental treatment and CLL
My husband has been taking Acalabrutinib for nearly two years. His lymphocyte count is around 40 and other blood results normal. His dentist says he needs 4 teeth extracted over the next year or so - 3 teeth in 2 sessions in the Spring/Summer and one in the Winter. His main worries are having to stop

diverticulitis incontinence
Diverticulitis hot of nowhere. I fell down the stairs, was life flighted to UH main Campus, and had multiple Harkin’s procedures. Gutted thrice, like a catfish. I’ll be with ostomy for rest of my life. It’s been 40 days. Weak as a kitten I’m just in to rehab but still draining. They equipped me

mental
health
even before his cancer. Does anyone know anything about a ‘ rest ‘ period & why ? I’d be grateful. In himself he’s relatively ok & we focus on that & keeping him positive. Thanks to everyone xxxxx

Mom says one thing that upsets me and then dad lectures me how this is wrong and makes me believe the exact opposite phylosophy and then mom comes again. I hate it how always freaking always someone "has it worse". In the hospital my roommate had it worse, at home mom had it worse. And i don't even have

How do you cope with the waiting?
The waiting at every step is creating a level of stress I am finding hard to deal with. The PSMA scan my husband had scheduled on Wednesday was pushed to next week because they are waiting on tracer. Honestly, it feel like two steps forward and one step back all the time. We wanted to discuss the results

Had a very brief scare there
As you can imagine I’ve been super paranoid about my hearing/ears since my
mental
health
crisis back in May when I had a tinnitus worsening due to chemo, I never want to go back to that as long as I live.

Post dental treatment
Wondering how you are all doing? Just has some dental treatment this week and thought I was doing okay after it but now feeling the effects. Why does dental treatment do that? I made sure to ensure I didn't have adrenal in local aneasthetic, checked I wasn't sensitive to the ingredients in the filling

Symptoms worsening, no luck with GP and yet to see Gynae
On one occasion I did see my own GP at out of hours after a night of terrible symptoms, and I had some promises made, but all were forgotten and it now brings me that much anxiety to keep chasing given previous trauma and my ongoing
mental
health
issues.

New and Needing Some Advice
After getting married 5 years ago to a wonderful gal, having two kids, and getting a new job/moving, I had a
mental
health
crisis last year and took a month off to rest from burnout. During that time, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which put a lot of pieces in place.

PMR Review with GP
Further to my previous two posts, I had my appointment with the GP today, which was interesting. No mention of fibro. Yay! Mind you, this was the same doc I saw right after diagnosis and the guy who sent me off next day to the hospital ophthalmologist to get my eyes checked out to make sure that I

An update
I never used to get it that bad but I feel like now, everytime I drink I wake up with strong feelings of guilt and shame.I've been reading up on cases of people going sober for short periods to see the impact it has on their
mental
health
and I think I want to give it a shot.
