My brother has waited for three months for advice from a dietician. She basically said i don't know what's wrong with your liver or kidneys so just east what you want and dont add salt. WTF are you kidding me. He has child pugh class C liver cirrhosis which has impaired his kidney function. HE almost died and was in hospital for 8 weeks with encephalitis and ascites which were incidentally found when a massive internal abscess gave him sepsis. SO... i dont trust them, can you guys give me advice on what he ca eat. THINK CHILD... he has mental health issues and can't think to make anything more complicated than a cheese sandwich, he need simple snack things. I've asked for another dietician and he has been referred to Leeds liver unit. thanks so much.
