8 embryos after almost losing hope
I’ve been debating whether to post but wanted to provide hope to those who have struggled to produce viable embryos. We’ve attempted IVF twice and weren’t able to reach blast, even resulting in tri-zygote. The third time, we had 15 mature eggs and 13 fertilised. All reached blast and we were able to

Hormonal Acne - Something finally worked for me!
Hi everyone! I'll try keep this as short as possible. I suffered from acne pretty badly around the age of 11 for a few years, took Roaccutane, it cleared up, medication did it's job. Fast forward to now, I'm 30 ish, lovely basic good quality skincare, no smoking, alcohol, good diet (or so I thought

2 1/2 year update and Rheumy consultation
To save you delving into my history too much here is a recap and update. I was diagnosed June 2020 and started on 15mg Pred. In 2021 I got down to about 8/7mg but a flare pushed me up again. I tried again a while later but the pain got bad and last summer I went back to 15mg. I was half way through

I asked Chat GPT what the best supplements to take for PD
Artificial Intelligence?? Pretty pedestrian intelligence if you ask me. "As an AI language model, I cannot provide medical advice or recommendations. However, I can provide some general information about supplements that have been studied in relation to Parkinson's disease. It is important to note

Sulphoraphane in canola / rapeseed oil?
Now when I see the beautiful yellow rapeseed fields, I wonder if this cruciferous plant, like broccoli, kale and Brussels sprouts, also contains as much sulphoraphane, especially in the concentrated form when cold pressed (bio) oil is made from it. Canola / rapeseed oil would have the lowest percentage

"Fired" my local general oncologist whose plan was Xtandi, radiation, and Xgeva for me. She was against chemo in my case since the mets weren’t in organs. Contrast

Between a rock and a hard place :-(
Hello. I’m looking for advice from the experts on here and others who may have been in a similar quandary. In December 2020 I paid privately for a Rheumatologist who suggested a DEXA Scan. I did this because of various aches and pains particularly in my legs and hands which I couldn’t fathom. The
