does anyone have any good ideas of how to lose weight with this condition, I’m taking the supplements. Inositol, chronium, omega 3, ACV, I’m going to the gym 3 days a week and then calorie counting but I’m still not loosing weight and I’m losing my mind

Hiya

Something that worked wonders for me. I signed up to the body coach back in Jan. It's been a slow burner but managed to lose 2stone.

I follow the diet plan and work out 3-4 times a week. Foods super tasty making it alot easier to follow 😊

I know the keto diet doesn't work for everyone, but I've lost 10lbs over the last 2 months, taking no supplements and without a huge amount of exercise, just by following it, minimizing carbs and sugar.

My consultant recommended replacing white rice, bread and pasta with wholegrain alternatives, but I found it easier to just cut them altogether. I eat a high protein and fat based diet (meat, cheese, natural yoghurt, peanut butter), plus plenty of green vegetables (brocolli, green beans, asparagus, avocado) and salad (celery, lettuce, cucumber).

I've seen a reasonable amount linking pcos with insulin resistance so whatever dietary change you decide to make, cutting sugar is likely to help.

I’d say mine was only loosely based on keto because I don’t eat meat but I followed the principles as much as I could and it’s the only thing that worked for me too! High fat & protein, low carb.

try eating for your blood group. If you are type O then a high protein low carb diet. Would be interesting to know what percentage of PCOS sufferers belong to which blood group.
