hi I was wondering if anyone had experience of referred shoulder pain from endo growing high on the diaphragm?
I stopped taking birth control in March to TTC fully expecting my normal endo symptoms to return but this shoulder pain is new and has hit me like a truck, it is relentless. It starts on day of period and lasts at least a week after period has stopped.
Doctor said it’s just endo hitting a nerve that runs from stomach to shoulder and to manage it in the same way as I do my pelvic pain (mefenamic acid and co codomol) but this is not always working!
Anyone have experience of this?

Yes i also get cyclical shoulder pain and swelling in my diaphragm too. Do you get recurrent hiccups that come on Super easily? I can be sat totally still and suddenly the hiccups strike! When im due my period or ovulating it kicks off big style! I have a Samsung smart watch and ive also noticed my blood oxygen levels are dropping in the 5 day lead up to my period and throughout, then again in my ovulation window. Mentioned it to my endo nurse and she said it wasn't gynaelogical so i should ask my GP for stomach protectors and get checked for IBS. Which was disheartening because my hospital is BSGE registered so they should investigate before dismissing it. So far though I've not been able to get anyone to explain what on earth is wrong! Very frustrating. If anyone here does have experience of getting a diagnosis of diaphragm endo i would be interested to hear how it was diagnosed and how long it took to be found. Ive just had a diagnostic lap and it has meant that everyone thinks i should be better. But the symptoms in my upper stomach and shoulder are all still there, even though my pelvic pain and lower belly pain is significantly better. Xxx
