pregabalin and iron
Hello, I have tried googling if there is any interaction between pregabalin and iron but can’t find anything. I take an iron tablet due to low iron (morning and it has not helped) but will switch to iron bisglycinate at night after reading posts here. I stop eating at 6:30pm so I can take my pregabalin

Another update - salivary cortisol and more thoughts on what's going on
Hey everyone, My salivary cortisol came back few days ago, much improved. I wanted to check what impact additional 7.5 mcg t3 had on my saliva cortisol levels. My morning cortisol increased from 7 to 58% My afternoon cortisol went from 9 to 57%. My evening cortisol went from 59% to 115%. Concerned

Could be some positivity for frequent UTI sufferers.
Good morning folks. Just entering the fourth year since my GCA diagnosis and having suffered around 17 UTI's in that time (hospitalised with two) along with constant symptoms in between, I've swallowed tons of D-Mannose, cranberry supplements, given up caffeine, artificial sweeteners, used vaginal pessaries

Where do I go from here?
I've many years history of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Polymyalgia (PMR). I developed vasculitis in August, possibly triggered by apixaban. That had been started after an episode of dramatically low sodium had caused Atrial Fibrillation. I'm now on 25mg prednisolone, azathioprine 125mg daily. This is stops

water balance?
I have what the phlebotomists call "little rolly veins" which translates into multiple sticks at blood draws and having to wait for the "vein whisperer" guy to be available, also very slow and insufficient draws when the vein they finally managed to tap collapses, that kind of thing. So I drink a lot

COPD struggle
Please help! My husband is struggling with COPD. We live in a rural town of 800 so doctors are not nearby. He has started swelling. How do you keep that down? We monitor his diet closely, keep his sodium under 2000. What can you do for the cough? It wakes him up every hour. I am taking care of

Escape from Augmentation
I have continued to make progress on my path to getting my dopamine receptors back to somewhere near normal. I last used a DA patch in September. I am using buprenorphine patches and pregabalin as RLS blockers to assist in the process. There is some improvement (perhaps 60%) in my sleep regime and in

Sodium cromoglycate inhaler (Intal)
Can anyone share their experience getting Intal inhaler since it has been delisted in the UK? Or, do you now take it via a nebulizer instead? If yes, can you share the name of the nebulizer device and the manufacturer of the cromolyn/chromoglycate solution? Pubmed indicates it's less effective than

Recommended Tracking App - Easy to use, tracks what I need to monitor for CKD
After searching for a long time and almost giving up, I finally found an app that does everything that I need. Yeah! It tracks my diet and helps me monitor my intake of Sodium, Potassium, Phosphate, Protein and Water, which is important for patients with CKD . At the same time it tracks calories

Comprehensive CKD and healthy Diet app
If you are aware of any reputable comprehensive apps to help track food intake for CKD patients. I would love a recommendation. Kidney diet tracking is complicated and it would be invaluable to have a toolset for those of us trying to implement dietary changes that are comprehensive. By comprehensive

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

pre workout supplements
Hi, wonder if any of you use a pre workout supplements and if its safe to do for us ? I am not very experience at the science behind it, but some supplements help to carry more oxygen through our RBC, promoting its production which I guess its not suitable for us ? Before and soon after I was diagnosed
