Back pain and hip "lumps" or swellings on both sides anyone?
Hi everyone, I was dx'd with Churg Strauss 15 years ago. Considered a "mild" case as even lose dose prednisone usually does the trick for me and my main symptoms are sinus related. I have had a few months of hell, catching a lot of colds and bugs. In October, my neck lymph nodes came up accompanied by

Advice on 8dp5dt
Hi Ladies, I am just over a week ET (2ww). Since yesterday afternoon I started off with a headache and later on in the evening I noticed after I had been to toilet and wiped that I had a brown spotting, this has now gone on to be a pinkish colour up until today as well. I have also had mild cramps

Not a good news for those who take fish oil supplements. It is one of the best selling supplement world over... .....Oily Sea Fish as a whole food may be beneficial for heart (provided that it is not contaminated by sea pollutants such as Mercury, Lead, Arsenic and other toxic chemicals from industries

Fish oil for paroxysmal AF
Hi all I have paroxysmal AF and am not on any medications. I am trialling lifestyle changes eg alcohol cessation, exercise etc. My Cardiologist suggested taking fish oil 1 tablet three times daily. Has anyone else tried this and found it beneficial in reducing frequency of episodes? Thanks

Coeliac diagnosis confirmed
Saw the consultant today who confirmed I do have Coeliac. He couldn't tell me how damaged my villi were however. Just thought I'd share my journey with you all. I first went to the Dr about this with neurological issues at the end of this summer. Thankfully she ran a coeliac screen amongst other tests

What helps you manage IBS ?
I have had IBS for 45 years now: started when I was very young, first medically diagnosed through tests as IBS when I was 19/20. It was a regular visitor on a come- and-go basis for a long time, got worse more recently and I think that is in part due to being older. I have found that some things like

Really constipated
I have lately been going 4-5 days without a BM. Today is day 5. My wife wanted to go to the beach, so I took her. Around 1pm I told her I needed to get back to our unit to take care of business. She knows it's day 5. I tried to dissuade her, but she insisted on coming back. I took a TBSP of castor oil

Only running once a week at the moment
I’m a university student which means I’m fitting C25K around lectures, seminars, meetings, societies and the usual shopping, cooking, cleaning and eating ect. I’m still on week one run three because I’ve only managed once a week so far. I've changed my diet, I do a 15 min home legs, bums and tums workout

A battle all the time
So after my dr appointment the other week I asked for a drs phone call about my private test results She too said that my results are normal and that there could be other factors why my TSH is high, like if I’m stressed or busy ect or because of my hormones at the time. Apparently if your being treated

Lisinopril
I had a heart attack in 2005 and a stent fitted in my right coronary artery. At the time I was put on 2.5 mg bisoprolol, 2.5mg lisinopril, 75mg apirin and 40 mg simvastatin . I am now 69 years old. I dropped the lisinopril about 5 years ago as my BP was not an issue and my GP thought it may be contributing

Cns symptoms.
I am diagnosed officially as uctd, with positive ana (1:1280) and anti ro. They call it lupus mainly, the last few years I've been getting progressive Cns type symptoms. I was diagnosed with dystonic tremor in my left hand, but the tremor is progressing. I also have muscle weakness, early muscle failure
