I am sharing my experience. This is my experience and in no way is it advisable to not follow your doctors recommendations. I have suffered from depression most of my life. I have been on more than 25 different medications, 13 rounds of ECT (I do not recommend this for anybody). Alternative therapies

Lower Right Quadrant Pain
Hi, I have IBS and about a week ago started up with stabbing/twisting pains in my LRQ after mistakenly eating udon (didn't know it was wheat). I get pain around the belly button, right side and then down into the ileocecal area. Nothing helps. Not Tylenol or castor oil packs. It has waxed and waned for

Hello everyone. What a great forum!! I am a 56 year old woman. I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis after breaking my elbow last December. I suspect that this is from my menopause (I was 43). Iāve had a horrendous menopause but was starting to feel much better last year but then I fell.

On going pain.
For over nine years now, I have suffered pain, which over the years has worsened each and every year. At the begining I felt very much that my GPs didnāt believe me at all, one even saying to me that itās time I let go of this, as thereās nothing wrong with me. I have tried pain management, bought practically

ECT for OCD?
Hi everyone. My psychiatrist who manages my medication for OCD has suggested that one of my remaining options right now is Electroconvulsive Therapy. I'm wondering if this is effective for OCD. I'm concerned about the side effects and also the effectiveness of it for my severe OCD. I'm 40 now and I developed

Should I pursue teaching or another career?
Iām currently enrolling for the elementary education k-5 degree to be a teacher. Things I noticed today at our summer program for school age kids. We were playing monopoly and I get hyper focused where I wanted to keep playing when another student needs help with something such as ironing fusebeads and

Critique My Supplement Stacking? Share Your Protocol?
Update: I can be such an idiot. I have not been diagnosed with PK. I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and my neurologist was kind enough to let me know PK is in my future (and/or LBD). My supplement list is intended to keep PK and LBD away (though truth be told my balance is not what it used to be, and

What dosage of calcium supplement is recommended when on prednisolone?
I'm on 7.5mg of prednisolone. At my rheumatologists appointment today I advised him that I wouldn't be taking up his recommendation of Alendronic Acid despite having a very small amount of osteoporosis in my lower lumber region. I advised him that I was taking Caltrate which has 600mg calcium/200 IU
