Your thoughts - treatment plan
Unfortunately, in parallel, my wife will be undergoing a full
mastectomy
in one breast for DCIS (too much there to do a lumpectomy). Thankfully she tested negative for BRACA mutation so additional surgery is not under consideration. But we were diagnosed within days of each other.

Failed Vasectomy Reversal
My husband had a vasectomy reversal and the results came back it was unsuccessful. He has 2 children from a previous relationship and would love to start our own family. Can anyone give me any tips on what to do next, what is the best route for us? Thank you in advance!

Implant and reduction/lift surgery while on Ibrance
My oncologist wants to keep me on Ibrance even though I’m having my implant exchange on the
mastectomy
side and a lift/ reduction on healthy breast to match. Has anyone stayed on Ibrance before, during and after surgery? I’m concerned with healing.

New cancer vaccine trial helped kill breast cancer cells in Mayo patient (October 10, 2019 news item)
She could go the traditional route of having a lumpectomy where the cancer cells are removed, a
mastectomy
where the breasts are removed, or she could join a clinical trial for a potentially life-saving vaccine that could prevent the cancer cells from coming back.

Pain!
4 years ago I had a laparoscopic surgery, for (in technical words) diathermy of endometriosis, adhesiolusis, bilateral tuboplasty for blocked Fallopian tubes secondary to endometriosis and ovarian cystectomy. I’m starting to go through fertility and so I had a internal and external scan to see if any

Pectoral Lymph Nodes Swollen
I’ve had tenderness in my pectoral lymph node area (right side) 4-5 yrs after a
mastectomy
and lymph node clearance left side. Had rib twinges too on/off (though also had Costochondritis).

Hard epididymis
Hi, just looking for some advice to see if anyone else has this same experience... I'm 43 years old and had vasectomy 3 years ago. I have had aching testicles intermittently since then and I do suspect a varicocele on the right side as I can feel a large collection of tubes/veins. But my main concern

Anyone out there with recurrent non-metastatic breast cancer?
Had a bilateral
mastectomy
with reconstruction. In October 2013 found another lump in the same area! Had that lump removed. In July 2019 had yet another lump removed from the same area. I spent 10 years on different aromatase inhibitors: tamoxifen, letrozole, and anastrozole.

I had my double
mastectomy
Wed, the 4th and came home the 5th. Minimal pain, and not much drainage. Has my 1st dressing change on Friday and it doesn't look bad at all.

One year wait for reconstruction?
Hi, I am sure there must be a few of you out there that can answer my question:- "Why is it that some ladies can have a reconstruction at the same time as
mastectomy
, yet some of us have to wait a year?" Is there something that I am just not getting or being told? Take care all x

Can a vasectomy fail?
I had a vasectomy in June this year. Thankfully I took plenty of bed rest and made a speedy recovery from the op. The soerm test after 8 or 12 weeks showed it was clear. I had asked the surgeon if the op could fail and my wife could get pregnant again. He said the rate of vasectomy failures is quite

My

is scheduled for next Thursday and I’m getting nervous about the surgery and leaving the family with my husband still recuperating, but can’t wait for us both to be cancer free 🤞🏻

Hoping for the best.
She had a diagnosis thirteen years ago, double
mastectomy
, chemo and radiation. She has done very well until she got a terrible backache about a month ago. She finally saw her Oncologist, just to rule out any return of cancer. Well, it's back, in her spine and liver.

Am I Petty?
Next, a mutual friend of mine and this same daughter in law suddenly had a double
mastectomy
in her mid-40’s. This same mother of the daughter in law suddenly claimed breast cancer herself. I never noticed anything changing in her life style.
