My husband had a vasectomy reversal and the results came back it was unsuccessful. He has 2 children from a previous relationship and would love to start our own family. Can anyone give me any tips on what to do next, what is the best route for us?

Thank you in advance!

Hi, I'm sorry you faced this failure. At repro clinic they could still extract some semen from him and then use those through IUI or IVF. Have you considered this? (Do research on TESA, TESE). We aren't doctors here, so it's better to address your needs to a professional. He might have some good plan for your very case. Wishing you all luck in the world.

Hi there. I'm sorry you've faced this failure. Still you have to investigate whether your dh can still produce healthy active semen. If yes, your dr might have told you about the options Karinyaa is talking about. Then you could use his sperms in ivf. The thing is not all the clinics perform it. So you'll have to do another pile of reading. Though in a month time span things might have changes for you. Could you update, please??
