Sotalol side effects
I've had both SVT and AF ablation's. The SVT was from just after I had my first child and was severe. The ablation for that took and I was put on Verapemil (sp?) I had no further SVT and all was well. Then after 30 years I began 11 years of hell that brought me here: total gastrectomy; followed 3 years

I have Bell’s palsy and I lost my hair after chemotherapy - Sheila’s visible difference story
Three years ago I got breast cancer and had to have a
mastectomy
, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, I lost all my hair which was devastating to me. Not for the loss but because I used to use my hair as a mask to cover the affected side of my face.

Necessity of target therapy in her2 positive breast cancer
My mother, 57 yrs, has been diagnosed with her2 positive breast carcinoma. Her
mastectomy
in the left breast is done and now she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment and then followed by radiation. We can't opt for target therapy for her2 positive status due to it's huge cost.

Post Vasectomy Pain, what physically needs to happen in the body for it to subside?
I've been diagnosed with post vasectomy pain syndrome 6 months on from my vasectomy surgery. The consultant believes that my Vas Deferens is swollen and under pressure as the sperm being produced now have nowhere to go and do not get absorbed into the body quick enough, causing back pressure and hence

Suprecur as trigger?
Following my consultation with the founder of my clinic, I'm going to be doing a combination of cycle 1 (long protocol) and cycle 2 (antagonist) meds for cycle 3. As I'm high risk of OHSS she said she might use suprecur as the trigger. Has anyone ever done this as I've only ever used ovitrelle before

Total gastrectomy medication
I had a total gastrectomy 7.5 years ago and have suffered with swallowing issues ever since plus bile reflux. I take Omeprazol 2 x 20mg daily and Domperidone 3 x 10mg daily to supposedly help keep the bile down. With this medication I continue to have bad bouts of reflux during the day, not so much

Moving on with life!
I have mad it to the two year mark from diagnosis and almost 2 years since my
mastectomy
. I'm on a daily estrogen blocker. My hair is almost shoulder length post chemo (last day of treatment was May 2018). I see my oncologist every 3 months and my surgeon every six months.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer
I'm waiting results of a gene test in case I need a double
mastectomy
. The good news is that after 2 cycles of EC my tumour has shrunk by 1cm, 25% of its size.

I was so scared of taking Paclitaxol chemo, but it has been ok.
Hello, I had a
mastectomy
in April this year with additional removal of 6 lymph nodes. One aggregate deposit of .5, so my surgeon sent me to an oncologist for “possible radiotherapy and hormone treatment.” I am Triple Negative grade 3 stage 3.

Free vasectomy...
Does anyone here have an idea of where and how to get vasectomy operation done free of charge on the NHS? Your suggestions and advice would be highly appreciated.

Forgive me...
After my last post, two respondents mentioned this site is meant for this with MBC. I had no idea! I thought it was a support network for all who have been diagnosed with all stages of BC. I am so very sorry if my "pity party" offended those who have it much worse than I. During this journey, I have

Multiple year survivors - what's your advice?
I was diagnosed in May of this year with MBC to my bones 3 years after a bilateral
mastectomy
. I was naive enough to hope I was clear as at the time of my
mastectomy
, my sentinel node was clear. So no radiation or chemo. I felt so lucky!
