Does this sound like Hashimoto's please?
Hello, My thyroid has been under suspicion for many years but I cannot seem to get any answers. Postnatally, (four months after giving birth), some fifteen years ago, my TSH was tested and was 12.6. Nothing was done about this. ( I have only just seen this on my NHS app). Fast forward to eight years

Ropinerole
I've been on Gabapentin and Ropinerole for 25 years, and finally got off due to the terrible effects of augmentation. I've been on Lyrica now for about 6 months, and other than not having daytime symptoms, my nights have been worse than ever. I was at a motel recently, and took one Ropinerole because

Carbomer eye gel
Good morning. I was at the ophthalmologist yesterday getting umpteen scans and things due to taking hydroxychloroquine. I have very dry eyes once the UV starts to increase (usually February so bang on time). The ophthalmologist gave me carbomer eye gel to use before I go to bed and told me to continue

Update after stopping sertraline
hi everyone, Just an update. I posted here a few weeks ago. RLS had got worse and I have needed escalating doses of ropinorole . I’m 51 yo and have had RLS in pregnancy and it resurfaced in the past 5-7 years, in perimenopause. My mood symptoms were incorrectly diagnosed as anxiety, rather than being

Buprenorphine triggers RLS (briefly)?
I have noticed this three times in the last few weeks, after being on suboxone (sub-lingual strips) for last 2 months. Within 5 minutes of taking the suboxone, my RLS will kick in (generally at a medium-ish intensity). I've not rode it out to see how long it lasts - I've taken some cannabis to lessen

Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone)
Hello. I am in Canada and I, and my four siblings, have suffered with RLS, most of our lives. I am 68 now and have struggled with RLS since I was in my late 20’s. I have been through it all and done it all including 6 years on pramipexole, augmentation and horrible detox. Gabapentin did not work,

Checking medication
Hi, I was chatting to a colleague today about their restless legs which have been unbearable lately. Their doctor put them on Perindopril for high blood pressure, Amiodipine- a calcium channel blocker, and Fenofibrate for high cholesterol. He thought they made his legs so much worse (his doctor doesn't

Belbuca vs. Suboxone
I’m in the US (CA). I’ve been on Suboxone for two months and it handles my RLS quite well. I’m currently taking about .4 mg (1/5 of a 2mg strip) nightly. I’ve gotten over the tiredness that arose for the first month or so, but the constipation is no fun. I’ve read one study that says buccal applications

Hi all, I was diagnosed around two days ago with fibromyalgia and hypermobility syndrome (eds), although I’ve been struggling for a while now, I’m struggling to take in the diagnosis, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice to give or suggestions on what to do next. Thanks in advance :) x

Pregabalin
Has anyone had any experience of pregabalin becoming less effective? I was taking the maximum dose of 450 mg but I started to have breakthrough symptoms. I went to the GP who appeared horrified that I was taking Pregabalin. She said I must reduce it until I was not taking anymore and at the same time

scared and worried
I will have to admit that I am very concerned about coming off the Ropinirole! After reading some of the experiences that some people have had it makes me wonder what will I go through. I know I’ve said this before but I’m just not sure I can do it. If I had some good support and help it would make it

Life after Tocilizumab?
I've been off steroids since mid-May. Continuing to take methotrexate (15mg weekly) and Toxilizumab weekly. I seem to be doing well - bloods fine and health ok. I'm seeing rheumatologist next week and my concern is I'm guessing that I won't be eligible for further Tox after my current prescription runs

Tocilizumab
I am advised that a biosimilar to tocilizumab has been approved in the UK and will be available at a more economical price , enabling NICE to allow NHS prescriptions for GCA after the initial 12 months. My GP and Consultant keen to get me off Pred altogether ( currently on second attempt in 3 years)
