hello all if u have all been following my journey .
It has been quite difficult , lost my baby at 21 weeks to fetal anomaly - no genetic conditions on my end or husbands end . It was a 3 day fresh transfer and worked first time we were so happy.
it was a difficult time and had some hope in the final and only other embryo we had . We had high hopes that this fet would work . I have pcos and i am 26 . Unfortunately we have had devastating news and it failed beta hcg confirmed .
I am extremely mentally and emotionally struggling. We will have to do ivf all over again .
do you know when they start you on a new cycle? Though I think I will take a month break and start all over again so i can mentally and emotionally prepare my self and destress with whatever has happened the past few months .
I am 26 and already feel like giving up i know i cant and i wont but i am really scared . Is there anyone on here who had a failed fet? And went onto get pregnant after that? The second time? Similar to me who has pcos?.
I just need some words of support and reassurance. I am starting to feel defeated i know its accumulative of my loss and now this failing . I thought age would be on my side and that i know i can get pregnant and carry a baby long term till 21 weeks but i am feeling so rubbish about my body and it letting me down this time again .
Anyone young on here with pcos? Going through ivf , got pregnant? After a couple of times?
hi hun, first of all im so sorry for those news, its devastating i know! Every single BFN in my life was taking a piece of my soul with it.
Im 26yo as well no pcos tho but multiple surgeries scar tissue and no fallopian tubes. I always thought the same, that age is on my side and i should have successful pregnancy on the first go etc. But for some is not that easy and its normal! I will always remember my dr saying that in IVF and every transfer you have the same chances to get pregnant as a woman in her normal life and cycle. And not everyone is getting pregnant every month!
After a bumpy road 3 BFNs(1 fresh 2 fets) 2 surgeries and 3 IVF cycles ,we finally have our first ever positive. Its still early days so we hope for the best🤞
But dont lose hope, me and my partner entered this fet being 100% certain it wont work again and i was planning my next moves 2days past transfer.
Hello Pcosivf! I’m so sorry to hear about the difficult time you’ve been having.
I’m 33 with PCOS and my first frozen transfer in August ended in a BFN. We then had another FET in October and I’m now 5w3d pregnant! It’s still very early and I’m terrified of miscarriage given higher rates for PCOS but I’m trying to stay positive. Happy to chat in DM if you like xx
