Kidney failure stage 4 and am worried?
My mother had a kidney failure she's on stage 4, her GFR was 17% on December 2020, now its increased to 25% (UP & DOWN) she was prepared for kidney transplant (I am the donor) , but now the doctor postponed transplant until it goes down (below 20%), does she really need to do the transplant now or she

Do you want to have a friendly chat to a researcher about your experiences?
[We're still recruiting to this study in case there are any new members or people who still wanted to take part] Were you diagnosed with lung cancer within the last 12 months? Have your say about your experiences in the PEARL study - a research programme led by UCL and funded by Cancer Research UK.

Hi everyone, itâs been a very long time since Iâve posted anything on this forum. Hope youâre all as well as you can possibly be, if not I hope you feel better soon. I have a question for you all and although itâs through the possible worst pandemic this country has been through, I would like to ask

Peripheral Neuropathy in feet
Hi everyone. I have painful , numb feet due to PN for about a year. Did not improve during dialysis and now that I recently had a kidney transplant I am hoping there may be some change? Treating it with pregabalin for the pain. Has anybody else had the same and found any improvement?

Our daughter will have another operation to attempt to try and clear her Jaundice next week. She had a Kasia on Dec' 14th (born 14/10/20). They will give her a DISDA scan tomorrow (17/02/20) and hopefully try and establish the location of the problem that is still preventing her Jaundice from clearing

Study indicates COVID-19 vaccines are safe for organ transplant patients.

The findings, they say, provide evidence that both the Moderna

Has anybody done only water fasting for over 24 hours after kidney transplant? I had done 7-8 days of only water fasting prior to KT and now have been doing IF of 20/4. Iâm also a vegan of 16 years. Is long period of fasting on water safe for renal transplant recipients on immunosuppressive meds? Thx

Hello My mum was diagnosed with NSCLC last April. She had three rounds of keytruda along with two chemos and after her first scan, it showed a good reduction in the tumour and lymph nodes. She then continued with the immunotherapy and just one chemo. After her second scan there was marginal growth, however
