Partner just diagnosed... trying to keep it together
My first post on here, and not asking questions or looking for answers... just an outlet for me. My partner was hospitalised in Feb for sudden liver issues, then got pneumonia and on critical care unit, wasn't expected to make it. He did, but in the process of scans they found a mass on his chest.

My husband is still recovering from a stem cell transplant earlier this year and will need to shield until end of July. I have to go back to work next week. Men's blood contains greater concentrations of enzyme that helps COVID-19 infect cells.
Evidence from a large study of several thousand patients shows that men have higher concentrations of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) in their blood than women. Since ACE2 enables the coronavirus to infect healthy cells, this may help to explain why men are more vulnerable to COVID-19 than women

End-Stage doesn’t mean it’s the end.
Yes, I go on waiting list in September for a
lung
transplant
(single or double is a new question). But I read about one emphysema patient still going strong after 17 years at stage IV. He lives alone, hoovers the carpet, does the shopping, and prepares meals.

Panic/heart rate PLEASE HELP
My biggest symptom of (my now diagnosed) panic disorder is palpitations/high heart rate. It isn't freakishly high, but I am so super sensitive to it that a rate of 90 may as well be 150 :'( I have been struggling with it all day, to the point that I'm either going to have to take an emergency-only xanax

Are people with previous drug and alcohol problems eligible to get a liver transplant?
I'm pretty sure I've got serious liver problems. Blood tests were good but i can't definitive tests at the moment. I used to smoke legal highs (cannaboids) years ago and I think they fucked up my liver. Since then I've been a binge drinker which i think pushed it over the edge. I haven't taken drugs

At the present time I take a Seebri in the morning & use Bricanyl as a reliever - it has been suggested by my consultant to use Altibro breezhaler - does anyone have experience of switching to this ie is it better than Seebri? I had an op for lung cancer in 2017 & was diagnosed with COPD in 2016.
