This is for information only.

There are many people out there who may have a weakened or lowered immune system due to several reasons including a liver transplant and who might be struggling with concerns over whether a covid vaccine is safe to have or not.

There is a presentation being given on the 3rd March at 4:00pm online. Here people can submit their question and hopefully address any concerns they may have.

The speakers will include:

Professor Ellie Barnes is a Professor of Hepatology and Experimental Medicine at the University of Oxford. She leads an established research group with a focus on T cell immunology relevant to gut and liver disease, and seeks to translate laboratory and clinical findings through to human experimental medicine studies. Ellie is also a member of the UK Coronavirus Immunology Consortium.

Dr. Anna Goodman

Thank you for this info. It looks very interesting especially with Tim Spector as one of the speakers. He is a brilliant researcher and up until very recently after my transplant, I was part of the Twins study for 20 odd years. To help support him, I report my daily well being in the Zoe App. It’s really easy & so simple, I throughly recommend it.

This is the link for your info covid.joinzoe.com/ I’ve just reported in and answered the 3 main questions.

1. Tests ( ie add COVID tests & results or update new ones)

2. Vaccines - have you had one, which one & have you had the second one

3. How do you feel today

And that’s it. There’s more info on there too. It’s now part of my daily routine 😀

You can still use it if you have not had the vaccine which is when I started using it. You update your situation day by day.
