Waiting to be staged
My name is SteveO. I am 72 and in pretty good shape, so I thought. That’s until an X-ray showed a mass in my upper left lung. Biopsy confirmed cancer. Another spot on PET. Me more biopsy then stage and treatment plan. I’m encouraged by hearing from others successes . Thanks and God Bless

ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR GETTING READY FOR IMPENDING TRANSPLANT
I believe I reported the other day that I have signed up for the hep C transplant study at my transplant hospital. I have been told by the study chief transplant physician that it could be three days or it could be 70 days before I am called for a transplant. I have not been as focused on learning more

Hi, I am scheduled for my abulation Nov 4th. Not scared of the procedure but scared that I might not be here for them to do it. I have all the symptoms of 4th stage heart failure. Newest one is that I have no appetite. With the success rate I have been given I'm afraid. Just lost my sister due to waiting

Fullerene compounds will help in the fight against lung cancer.

Can I get a tatoo??
Hey. So its been 9 years now of my kidney transplant. I am 17 years old now. Is it okay to get a tatoo like it won't harm my kidney or anything right?

Worried about silicosis
I'm new here and concerned, worried, paranoid, call it what you will. 5days ago I cut a 2m channel in a plaster wall wfor some cables with an angle grinder. I did have a small paper mask but in hindsight it was not appropriate. There was dust everywhere. I showered straight after the work but since then

Putting things in perspective
So it’s been almost 4 years since I was diagnosed with aggressive G9 PCa. Surgery, adjuvant RT and ADT, then more RT after recurrence in a handful of pelvic LNs. Been on ADT and Zytiga for 11 months to hopefully cleanup anything that may remain. PSA has been undetectable since the treatment for recurrence

Clinical Utility of Chromosomal Microarray in Richter's Transformation
Chromosomal microarray (CMA) is clever, very sensitive technology which looks for extra (duplicated) or missing (deleted) chromosomal segments, sometimes called copy number variants (CNVs) - see illustration. These include: microdeletions and microduplications of chromosome segments, which are too
