Ureteral stricture after transplant with no success after attempting stent and ballooning
Hello:) I just had my third kidney transplant in December. I had multiple pre transplant day long meetings to decide the best option for me having a third transplant and it was decided my fiance would donate and we would do paired exchange as a live donor and planned transplant would be for the best

Transplant assessment delay - thanks for nothing PCR test!

lung
transplant
or not. Instead, I'm having to put everything on hold after falling at the final hurdle ahead of my
lung
transplant
assessment which I was due to undergo today and yesterday.

Stopping Prednisone
I had my kidney transplant 2-1/2 years ago and my lab tests are consistently good. I'm taking everolimus, mycophenolic acid and prednisone. The prednisone is causing weight gain, diabetes and, possibly, hair loss. I tapered down to 5 mg of prednisone over two years ago. I'm now wondering whether I can

Advice
I have just been diagnosed with lung cancer, I had no symptoms and haven’t been unwell. I went to the Gp after developing a wheeze as I thought I had asthma. I am due to start immunotherapy the middle of June. I am due to go on holiday the middle of next week for 7 days and would like advice on travel

I had two brain mets from my lung cancer and radiotherapy got rid of them. I have just had another scan to check progress and it seems another small one has popped up on the opposite side, I'm devastated, it's determined to get me. I'm having a CT scan of thorax abdomen and pelvis. Consultant says if

Looking for other mommas!
My son received a kidney transplant in February. Since then he has had such terrible awful behavior, and I am more than burned out. Any other mommas out there with any experience/advice!?

Thank you!
Wow. Thanks to all of you for saying g’day. PPFE is idiopathic pleuro parenchymal fibroelastosis. Rare. Diagnosed by lung biopsy. I am not suitable for lung transplants. I will contact you all. 😊

Prednisolone, can it be down to 3/4 of 5mg?
Hi! So I'm kidney transplant patient on my 11th year. I have some hormonal issues and my doctor said I should reduce my Prednisolone from 1 tab morning of 5mg to 3/4 of tab. I'm hesitating. What's your experience? (Normal scheme for me: 1 tab Prednisolone at morning, 1mg Prograf morning and evening,

ET progression to MF - anxiety issues
My ET is now progressing to Post ET Myelofibrisis. My hemo has recommended I start on Ruxolitinib & also to be considered for a stem cell transplant. I know some of you have been in the same situation. Am I correct in thinking MF is life limiting? Also how have any of you coped on Rux? I feel very

Feet pain post kidney transplant
I am 2 months post transplant and I’m feeling good. I love to cook so I had my donor over for lunch and I cooked a bunch of food for her. I was standing for a few hours. I had such bad feet pain that afternoon/evening. It felt like it was radiating into my toes. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Just when it's now safe to go out, a note of caution.
I first posted this up two years ago as a timely reminder. All those who have received a liver transplant (like myself) or who have a suppressed immune system will know how important skin protection is at this time of year. It can feel like we are having to doubly protect ourselves. Having got through
