A short update
Just a quick update on my progress. I hope this encourages or inspires others. My OHS was on 16th June ‘23. That was AVR & CABG. I had 2 x PCI 3 weeks before that. I’ll be 72 in just over a months time but the 20 something year old in my head doesn’t want to understand that. I opted to attend the Phase

Teva, Teva, every where, Nor any tab of Venc
Yesterday, I went to pick up some owing levothyroxine - three packs of 25 and one pack of 100. The pharmacy has been helpful since I moved to them some time ago. I having consistently been getting Aristo Vencamil 100 and Wockhardt 25. But this time - all four packs were Hillcross. You are likely aware

Post AVR 3 & 1/2 weeks, Atrial Fibrillation
Surgery on 10th July, generally doing really well on the recovery however, what started as temporary blips of A-Fib has now settled in as constant A-Fib. I understand that I may need a Cardioversion. Last few days I have an erratic pulse rate too, Dr’s appointment on Monday apparently may increase Bisoprolol

Kidney Transplant
Hi everyone… I’m 36 years old male from Australia and have kidney failure last month. I’m currently on dialysis. The average wait time for kidney transplant in Australia is 2 to 7 years. My doctor told me i can get transplant early due to age factor. My question is that can someone explain their transplant

Is this normal? So many questions
At the age of 8 I got cancer surgery on my leg, on the soft tissues. The operation caused the interruption of 3 lymph nodes. At the time, me and my parents didn't know about lymphoedema. And I was great! Until at the age of 13 I joined a tennis class and my leg started swallowing. I was then diagnosed

Wheezing
I wake with worrying wheezing, usually it seems to come from the left hand lower lung. I think it's associated with nasal drip and sleeping on my left. Sometimes coughing will produce a small amount of phlegm which relieves the situation to some extent. In cold weather or if I catch cold, my symptoms

Evening Primrose update
Hi. I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer a year ago. I had surgery and radiotherapy and was put on Letrozole. I have had a few problems with the Letrozole, which saw me come off it for a while. I was put back on it and the Oncology Nurse told me to take Evening Primrose oil. it’s been 3 months

help after a prostatectomy
hi I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in march of 2023 Gleason 3+4. went to Mayo Az for a robotic prostatectomy. Had a great surgeon he did a bilateral nerve sparring surgery in Dec of same year. Erectile dysfunction and Incontinence were my greatest fear and I have both. It’s been a roller coaster

Radiation and CA125 increase
I had surgery last November to remove a large tumor along with my ovaries (already had a hysterectomy). In June, a CT scan showed the lymph nodes in my pelvis were growing and a biopsy confirmed that the cancer had spread (or was there all along). I started radiation therapy and had bloodwork done

Incidentals on CT, Rheumatologist problem
Good morning, I was looking over the report on my PET/CT scan recently that I had in 11/22. On it, it says about the PMR. It also says that I had a soft tissue nodule on my left buttock - likely inflammatory, maybe from an injection site - please correlate clinically. It also says I have a left adrenal

asthma action plan trouble
Hi! It is a long time since I was last here. I have been so well for so long which makes me forget to look. I am still well bar a few hiccups. My issue is with my Asthma action plan. My surgery now puts them online somewhere, and I cannot find mine, any of them for the last 2-3-4 years. I will raise
