I'm waiting for surgery for laparoscopy for stage 4 endometriosis found on my ovaries, uterus and bowels. I've been really lucky that I don't get really bad symptoms and most of the time I can manage the pain. I sometimes get painful periods but with medicine it can be okay most of the time. But I've

I had a triple bypass 3 weeks ago and I am getting despondent because I don't feel that I will feel any better after 6 weeks which is when they said I could revert more back to normal

Do other people experience vaginal bleeding with a bowel movement post lap??
Hi, I am 6 weeks post lap surgery. I was bleeding for about 2 weeks post surgery then it sort of reduced to spotting. My first period since op lasted 12 days and since then I've been experiencing some vaginal discharge (almost flesh like and its not smelly) and bleeding especially when having a bowel

Rib pain after surgery
Hi, I had a laparoscopy two days ago and I've been getting a pain when I lie down in my right collar bone and right lower side ribs. It gets worse when I breath deeply. Did anyone else have this, or know the cause? Is it just the gas they put in?

A victory with my NHS GP! 🥳
I just wanted to share my joy that I've won my battle with my local surgery to get my EOD B12 injections on NHS prescription! After complaining in a persistent and factual manner about their handling of my health issues, I asked for them to provide injectable B12 over a pill that my stomach can't absorb

Yet another mess...
I am coming to the end of my B12 pills and being on the lower pension and every penny counts, wondered if I needed to reorder. So I phoned the surgery to request a blood test, and was told the GP would phone me back. So far, so good. A GP phoned, introduced herself as the new GP at the surgery. I

Salbutamol Inhaler not used as a reliever anymore?
Hi Yesterday I had my yearly Asthma review with the nurse from our surgery which quite frankly was a waste of my time. However what did concern me was that she tried to take away my Salbutamol Inhaler (actually there & then) telling me they do not recommend them any more as a reliever & that I am
