Exercise post surgery
Hi, I appreciate there are other more serious matters of concern but I would just like to know what types of exercise and when you started after
lung
surgery
. I am bored with physio and less motivated to walk everyday!

Waiting game
Then I will find out if he think I can have this
lung
surgery
or not. As I had Respiratory failure during my last two operations not sure what will happen. Breathing bad as usual, on oxygen now, but chin up. Wishing you all well. Take care in this damp weather.

Any tips for recovery please
Although I know that pneumonia can be a complication of
lung
surgery
, I can pinpoint the moment my little grand daughter coughed in my face and I got some cold bug which I think resulted in the pneumonia.

post surgery recovery
I had
lung
surgery
five weeks ago, lower left hand lobe The tumour was removed completely and the test results came back that it hasn’t spread to the lymph nodes which is fantastic news The problem I’m having is, I am still in excruciating pain in the area where the chest drain was , at the hospital

lung nodule / proposed surgery / scared and confused
Hello, thank you for this site. My best to all on this site for health and happiness. I’m not even sure where I may be at on this journey but am certainly scared and confused . In March of 2022 I had a kidney stone and a lung nodule was detected on right lower lobe and suggested follow up in 3 -6 months

Specialist results.
I saw my Respiratory specialist at the hospital Chest clinic on Wednesday last, and not sure how I feel at the moment, he has spoken to the doctors at Barts in London and they said I would not benefit from
Lung
reduction
surgery
as my Emphysema is all over my lungs and I only have 40% usage in each

It's Me
Sadly my condition is very much like it was before I had the
lung
reduction
surgery
. Barts are thinking of having me back in to try something else. However, I have got myself a new furry friend who is helping my mental state enormously.
