I am on Edoxaban, candersartan and Bisoprolol, I have had pelvic floor surgery and since have been in Afib, 9 days. Should I wait and see if it goes away like it always has?

Not losing weight on Atkins Diet. Any suggestions please?
I am a 76 year old man. My BMI is healthy at 22 though I’m not sure the calculations for BMI at my age are valid. I have very evident muscle wasting compared to my younger more active days which is normal and to be expected. I have also developed an early pot belly which is not good for my male ego.

Possible Hysterectomy at 42 as feel everything else hadn’t worked
My first time posting and really sorry for the long post. I have been struggling for the last 13 years, I’ve lost all of my thirties to pain and discomfort. My first laparoscopy and helium beam treatment back in 2011 they detected peritoneal pocketing found in the left uteri- sacral ligament and left

What's so wrong with refusing all treatment?
I am 59 and have what is now (according to my doctor and PSA results) stage 2 prostate cancer, which my doctor insists can still be cured with surgery and is begging me to have, but since he told me I would forever lose any ability to have an erection, I have refused any and all treatment. I have been

Problems with T3 treatment
Hello I'm writing to see if anyone can offer advice. I'm hashimotos hypothyroid, 5 years and have been Ok but not brilliant on levothyroxine at ~85mcg daily. My T3 has been consistently low at 3.7 while T4 has been 20-21. Not terrible symptoms but high cholesterol, some fatigue, mood often low. Working

No wonder Armour wasn't resolving my symptoms.... Turns out I have Dysautonomia as well as Hashimoto's
I've posted on here a few times before, about how my meds weren't working for some of my most stubborn symptoms. I've been on Armour for 6 months now and my bloods are good and stable, and some of my symptoms have drastically improved (for example flu like symptoms, muscle aches, hair loss, depression

Preparing for thyroid blood tests
This is my first posting so please forgive me if this sounds confusing. I am slated to have NHS knee replacement surgery but following my pre-op assessment have been dropped from the list because of abnormal thyroid levels. No information has been offered about the levels, what is abnormal about them

hyperparathroidism
After a year of being made to “wait and see” I am finally booked for surgery for hyperparathroidism I have really deteriorated in that time. I’ve developed osteoporosis, have severe hip pain, serious muscle weakness and worst of all have pretty much lost my sense of humor. I don’t know any more what

Melanoma
I got a double whammy diagnosis 10 days ago. My CLL was diagnosed when getting a mole removed which turns out to be a malignant melanoma. Am going in for some more surgery on my mole shortly and they will run tests on my lymph nodes at the same time. It appears that we are at greater risk of melanoma

going on holidays on plane with b12 ampoules and needles etc
I was diagnosed PA 20 years ago. and had monthly injections. I moved to England and new surgery. After blood tests I was reduced to every 3 months. Then when Covid happened I was told to get the b12 lozenges from chemist. I knew I was going backwards and all the initial symptoms returned so I started

PTSD? Fear of dying
Good evening, this may seem strange as I was initially in ITU about 10 years ago at the age of 25 I developed severe urosepsis and almost lost my life. I have an underlying bladder condition called fowler's syndrome which means I have to rely on catheters to empty my bladder via my belly button. Since

worried about going into atrial flutter at my daughters wedding
i recently had my second cataract operation. I have had multiple eye surgeries since chlldhood and have limited vision in my previously cataract operated eye. I found the surgery this time very distressing and went into flutter during the procedure. One of my daughters, not the one getting married

Had diagnostic laparoscopy, poor discharge letter & post-op help
I’ve finally had a laparoscopy and I think I’ve had therapeutic treatment (maybe diathermy? No idea) via a private hospital as nhs would make me wait 6 months to a year. I have photos and the consultant explained to me when I came around from GA that I have endometriosis and nodules on my ovaries but

B12 injection frequency
Hello I’m just looking for a little advice on behalf of my daughter. She has recently moved areas and so has a new GP (Manchester). She was able to have her B12 injection every 8 weeks previously but has just been told that she will now have to go to 3 months. She becomes symptomatic around 6-8 weeks
